Even the mainstream media is now beginning to notice that China and the USA are heading toward a future “clash.” The title of this blog is taken from a story in the prestigious Financial Times. The article (see link below) is well worth reading as it not only describes the inevitable confrontational course the USA and China are on, but it also examines the policy errors of the Clinton and Bush presidencies when American leaders thought they could change China from an authoritarian Communist nation into a liberal democracy by “engaging” China (and giving endless concessions to China). The article notes the hopes that China could be changed into a peaceful democracy via political and economic engagement were “plain wrong.” Indeed, it notes that “If anything, the Chinese government seems to be getting more repressive.”

The article was prompted by the confrontation between China and the global Google company, which is threatening to pull its operations out of China due to China’s repressive atmosphere. It warns that other western multinationals might follow Google out of China in the future. It is worth noting that it they do walk out of China, China is likely to nationalize their assets that are left behind in China (that was my thought—not the article’s). The article also warns that China’s currency manipulations and the high unemployment rate in the USA will force American politicians into an “anti-China” backlash.

It correctly observes that for years American policies toward China have been “almost willfully naive.” The U.S. Congress, pressured by many large political blocs in American society in an election year, is now likely to push hard against China’s currency manipulations and other Chinese policies which harm American workers (i.e. voters). While the article is mostly about economic and trade matters, it does mention the military confrontation which is also developing. It notes the “development of Chinese missile systems that threaten U.S. naval dominance” as well as the dangers of a Chinese cyberattack against the USA. These are topics discussed in many of my past blogs. It is good to see the mainstream press now seeing the dangers I’ve warned about for years.

Indeed, my very first warning on this subject (to the leaders of a Sabbatarian church who were very unwilling to hear it) were made about 23 years ago. My warnings were based on a literal application of Ezekiel 38, a key “latter day” prophecy, to the nations of the modern world. As long-time readers of this blog know, Ezekiel 38 prophesies that Russia, China, Iran and their allies will form a “Gog-Magog” alliance at the end of this age, and that this alliance would militarily attack the USA, the NATO nations and their global allies in a “Pearl Harbor”-like surprise attack. I can recall when others derided my warnings when the USSR collapsed and the Berlin Wall fell because they “drank the Kool-Aid” that a new era of peace had dawned between the West and the old Communist bloc led by Russia and China. However, biblical prophecies are backed by God’s challenge to all future generations in Isaiah 41:21-26 to watch his ability to make the world leaders do exactly what his biblical prophecies say they will do. Because America’s leaders have abandoned their faith in the Bible and, instead, embraced globalist fantasies about a world they intended to dominate, America’s leaders have enacted policies which have foolishly played right into the hands of China and Russia. If America’s leaders had read (and understood) biblical prophecies, America’s leaders could have avoided a world of hurt that is now coming upon the USA and the Western nations. The “hurt” will get a lot worse in the future and it will affect the lives and plans of everyone on this planet.

If you have not done so yet, I urge you to read my article, What Ezekiel 38-39 Reveal about a Future World War III.” It examines what a literal application of Ezekiel 38-39 reveals about the global world war which biblical prophecy says is certain to occur during the biblical “latter days” in the years ahead of us. Because God promises that he will compel world leaders to make decisions that will implement his biblical prophecies, you can know the future now before it fully unfolds in the years ahead of us. Remember, even the mainstream media can now see that this “clash” between the USA and China is inevitable. That means Ezekiel 38-39 is taking shape right before your eyes. You can either ignore all this or begin to personally prepare for the events that will surely befall the nations.
