MYREPLY
Bob,
While I have some information about the Huns in my book, Parthia–The Forgotten Ancient Superpower, there is much more information about the Huns in my book, Israel’s Tribes Today, which includes a discussion of the Huns who fought the Israelite tribes which migrated out of Asia into Europe after the collapse of the Parthian Empire in the 3rd century AD. The latter book examines the invasion of the Huns under Attila against the Israelite Goths, Saxons, Germans, Franks, etc. who had recently migrated into Europe ahead of the Huns. Some Israelite tribes (called Ostrogoths) actually fought on the side of Attila as vassals, but the Visigoths fought in the coalition which repelled Attila’s invasion. The battle of Chalons, where these forces fought, was one of the most decisive battles in the history of Europe.
There is also a discussion of the White Huns of Asia, who were also called Nephthalite or Ephthalite Huns in my book, Israel’s Tribes Today. This tribe was called “White Huns” to distinguish them as being distinct from the Hunnish tribes linked with Attila. The White Huns are identified as the tribe of Naphtali in my book, and they remained longer in Asia than most of the other tribes of Israel.
