A previous blog documented that Venezuela was moving steadily into the Gog-Magog alliance led by Russia, China and Iran. Additional evidence for this conclusion has emerged. The first link below contains a piece written by Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau about the dangers posed by the growing ties between Iran and Venezuela. Mr. Morgenthau warns that this “axis of unity”‘ poses a variety of growing dangers to the USA and the world.

While he lists such dangers as the Venezuelan involvement in the illicit drug trade, the fact that Iranian banks are moving into Venezuela, and the possibility that Venezuela may become a supplier of uranium for Iran’s nuclear weapons program, the one that really caught my eye was the following paragraph of Mr. Morgenthau’s piece.

“My office has learned that over the past three years, a number of Iranian-owned and controlled factories have sprung up in remote and undeveloped parts of Venezuela. These factories have emerged in small towns in interior Venezuela with a lack of basic infrastructure and simple amenities like restaurants and groceries. The lack of infrastructure is offset by what experts believe to be ideal geographic locations for the illicit production of weapons.”

When we consider the possible explanations for secret Iranian factories springing up in remote parts of Venezuela, none of them are benign. Are they making weapons that terrorists can use against the USA or American allies in this hemisphere? Mr. Morgenthau’s essay cites growing ties between Venezuela and Hamas and Hezbollah so this is a distinct possibility. Is Venezuela making components for Iran’s nuclear weapons programs in this hemisphere so they are neither suspected nor inspected by international nuclear authorities? If military attacks are eventually launched by the Israelis, the Americans or others against Iran’s nuclear facilities, perhaps some of those attacks will have to be made against these Iranian factories in Venezuela.

These Iranian factories have been operating in Venezuela for three years according to the first link. I’ve attached the second link which details that Venezuela has also become a major purchaser of modern Russian weaponry. What does Venezuela need with 100-500 Russian battle tanks? The third link (a recent item from the Huffington Post which apparently cites an earlier 2008 piece) connects Venezuela, Libya and Russia together.

This is all fitting into a clear pattern which was prophesied in Ezekiel 38:2-6 about 25 centuries ago when it detailed the Gog-Magog alliance that would take shape in the latter days of this age. The links below link Russia, Iran, Libya and Venezuela together as allies against the USA and the West. Russia constitutes “Gog, Magog, Meshech and Tubal” in Ezekiel 38’s prophecy while Iran is referred to by its ancient name, “Persia.” Libya is called “Libya” although it is the Hebrew word “Phut” which is translated Libya. The Libyans are included as the North African descendants of Phut, a son of Ham (Genesis 10:6), but the definition of Phut’s descendants would also include such North Africans as Algeria as well. Algeria was mostly a Soviet client state in the Cold War, and Algeria was the stated destination of the Russian mystery ship, the Arctic Sea, which became the focus of recent international intrigue. The best explanation was that Russia was shipping high-tech missiles to Iran via Algeria under the cover of a shipment of Finnish timber to Algeria when the Israelis “arranged” to intercept and halt the shipment. Algeria was apparently the complicit intermediate nation via which the Russian weapons were to be re-shipped to Iran. All this fits perfectly with the prophecy of Ezekiel 38:2-6, which confirms that a Divine Hand is acting to make sure that biblical prophesies are fulfilled in our climactic modern times. In Isaiah 41:21-26, God challenges everyone to acknowledged his reality and sovereignty by watching his ability to make his ancient prophecies come to pass. It’s too bad modern nations are blind to what is really going on in the world. Ezekiel 38:6 adds that besides the specific nations listed in the Gog-Magog alliance, verse 6 includes a phrase “and many people with you” which indicates that other nations not specifically named in the prophecy will also be part of the Gog-Magog alliance. Venezuela is clearly one of those “other” nations.
