On Monday, two days ago, someone apparently fired a large missile just off the West Coast of the USA, and no one is claiming responsibility for it. The first link below, from CBS News, has a picture of the missile streak and also cites a very responsible source, former US Ambassador to NATO, Robert Ellsworth, as stating that the projectile was “a big missile.” The CBS report openly calls the event “a mysterious missile launch.” The US military isn’t officially claiming the missile as one of its own, but Ellsworth speculated that it was a “test-firing of an intercontinental ballistic missile from a submarine.”
After the above reports the “spin doctors” got involved, trying to explain away the event as something other than a missile firing. The second link below, from CNN, dismissed the event as an airplane contrail. The third link, from FOX News, cited a US military official as saying that they are “‘very confident’ the mystery missile ‘was not fired from a foreign military.'” This statement reminds me of the cynical axiom that “one should never believe anything until it is officially denied.”
Since the concept of the “mystery missile” being fired by a foreign military was just officially denied, let’s consider that possibility. What foreign nation might have fired such a missile and what would be their motive in firing it at a direction away from the USA but so close to our shore that many people would see it. The most likely contenders would be Russia or China. They have missile submarines, and the Chinese have especially been active in building new missile submarines for their rapidly-expanding military. The Chinese showed off their ability to blow up US satellites with an anti-satellite missile not all that long ago. The Chinese also had one of their submarines surface undetected by US warships within “kill distance” of a US aircraft carrier not long ago. This blogsite discussed both those events when they occurred. Since China has a track record of showing off what they can do militarily, perhaps China just did another demonstration of what their new, modern military can do. If that was a Chinese missile fired from a Chinese submarine that was not far off the US West Coast, they just demonstrated that they can position their missile-firing subs just off the US coast, making many strategic and military targets on the continental US land mass easily vulnerable to Chinese (or any other nation’s) missiles.
Ezekiel 39:3 prophesies that when the Gog-Magog alliance of Russia, China, Iran and their allies attack the modern nations of the ten tribes of “Israel” (the USA, the UK and many NATO and other nations) in the latter days, that God will see to it that at least some of the “arrows” launched against the modern nations of “Israel” will not work and that their “bows” will be disabled. The Old Testament uses low-tech terminology to describe modern weaponry. The “arrows” of the ancient world were the long-distance “missiles” of the ancient world and “bows” were the ancient equivalent of “missile launchers.”
Numbers 24:14-24, a mostly-overlooked latter-day prophecy, prophesies that the latter-day descendants of Asshur and Eber will both be attacked from ships in the latter days. The descendants of Asshur became the ancient warlike Assyrians (a Semitic nation related to the Semitic Israelites—see Genesis 10:22), and my first book, The “Lost” Ten Tribes of Israel…Found!, identified the modern Assyrians as being the warlike Prussians who have since merged into the German nation. The man, Eber, gave his name to the “Hebrews” who descended from him. The Hebrew people include all the descendants of Abraham, who was foretold in Genesis 17:5 to be the father of “many nations” (not just the little Jewish nation in the Mideast). My writings have identified the descendants of Ishmael, Abraham’s first-born son via Hagar, as the Sunni Moslem Arab nations. The descendants of Isaac, Abraham’s son via Sarah, became the nations of the ten tribes of Israel (the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavian nations, Ireland, France, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, etc.). Eber also would include the nations descended from Esau (Edom) which my previous blogs have noted include Turkey, another NATO nation. The descendants of Eber via Abraham would also include all the sons of Keturah and his concubines (see Genesis 25:1-6). The sons of Keturah are likely found in Eastern European nations and the sons of the concubines were sent away to an “eastern country” by Abraham. The name of the chief caste of India is the Brahmins. Ancient languages did not preserve vowels as only consonants were written. If we place an “A” before Brahmins we get the word, Abrahmins, which obviously preserves the name of Abraham in a nation directly to the east of the Promised Land, exactly the location to which Abraham sent the sons of his unnamed concubines. All the above nations are the “many nations” of “Eber” prophesied to descend from Abraham. These nations will be attacked by the Gog-Magog alliance in the latter days from “ships” (Numbers 24:24) firing “arrows” (Ezekiel 39:3).
Perhaps the missile fired just off the US West Coast was fired by a foreign military power. If so, the Gog-Magog alliance may have just sent the complacent, debt-ridden USA an advance warning shot of what might be fired at us at some future time. One would expect such a warning shot to be “officially denied” by US sources, who want to be sure American consumers are not panicked just before the Christmas shopping season.
