The links [1, 2] below detail a growing state of tension that is building between Japan and China. The tensions have resulted from (A) China apparently acting as if it owns a maritime gas field which Japan also claims, and (B) the seizure of a Chinese trawler by the Japanese after the Chinese trawler collided with a Japanese coast guard vessel. The second link states the tensions are “escalating,” and “China has broke off high-level government contacts with Japan” over the disputes. Given the gargantuan size of China and its rapidly growing military power, it was inevitable that issues would start to occur that would bring China into confrontations with its neighbors. It is apparently beginning.

Long-time readers of my blog will recall that I have discussed Japan’s and China’s roles in latter-day prophecy as identified in Ezekiel 38-39’s key latter-day prophecy. For the full discussion of these nations’ roles in latter-day prophecies, I invite you to read my articles, Japan’s Role in Biblical Prophecy, and What Ezekiel 38-39 Reveals about a Future World War III. They can be read at the articles link of this website.
