The links below document that the computers in Iran’s nuclear weapons program have been hit by another deadly cyberattack. This is an appropriate follow-up to my previous blog post at this site about the rising dangers of an Israeli-Iranian war which could easily involve the USA and other nations.
I’m sure many readers recall that Iran was hit previously by a cyberattack using the Stuxnet virus (see my blogsite archives for previous posts on the Stuxnet attack vs. Iran’s nuclear program). The software program used in this cyberattack is called the “Duqu” virus, and it uses enough of the Stuxnet code that it is also called the “Son of Stuxnet” virus. The FoxNews link calls the Duqu virus a “major weaponized virus to turn computers into lethal weapons with devastating results.” It also reports the Stuxnet virus was designed specifically to attack Iran’s nuclear program computers, so it is virtually certain the Duqu virus was designed to do the same thing. The Stuxnet virus was widely attributed to Israeli and/or American sources, so it is likely that the Duqu virus which attacked Iran’s computers was launched by the same sources that devised the Stuxnet virus.
I think that the USA/Israel and other western nations (and perhaps some Sunni Arab nations which fear Iran) just sent another message to Iran that many nations are in agreement that Iran cannot and will not be allowed to have nuclear weapons. It is my viewpoint that the Israeli/western nations have no desire to attack Iran militarily and are doing all they can to stop Iran’s nuclear weapons program short of a military attack. This goal is a commendable one to avoid loss of life, but, at best, it is buying time for the West to stop Iran’s nuclear weapons program via diplomacy or regime change. At the worst, it could actually hasten an attack by Iran because the cyberattacks are doubtlessly making Iran’s leaders ever-angrier and determined to seek revenge against the Israelis/ Americans and their allies.
Make no mistake: I agree with the efforts of any and all western leaders to try and stop Iran’s nuclear program short of an outright military attack, which could trigger a major Mideast War which would involve other nations as well because Iran could unleash Hezbollah sleeper cells placed in American and other western locations. Whether the western strategy will succeed is not yet known, but it is clear several nations have decided Iran will not be allowed to have nuclear weapons. If Iran’s nuclear program persists, and it likely will, the odds of a military attack occurring are still growing greater with time.
Even if the West succeeded in arranging a regime change in Iran, it is hard to see an outcome which does not have the radical Shiite mullahs picking the next Iranian leader. Iran is now extremely anti-western, and it is likely to stay that way, given Ezekiel 38-39’s prophecy that Iran will be a part of the Gog-Magog alliance which is destined to attack the western/NATO nations and their allies at the end of our age. That event has already been pre-determined. If you count the times the phrase “thus saith the Lord” (a powerful edict in biblical prophecies) appears in Ezekiel 38-39, you will see it occurs seven times. Ezekiel 38-39 is, therefore, sevenfold affirmed by God to be fulfilled at the conclusion of “the latter days” (our time). No other prophecy in the Bible is similarly affirmed by God.
New readers at this website are urged to read my article, What Ezekiel 38-39 Reveal about a Future World War III [PDF], as that prophecy (and related prophecies) give a surprising amount of specific information about the alliances, motives and strategies that will occur during the final world war at the end of our age. Since Ezekiel 38-39 is specifically prophesied to be fulfilled during “the latter days,” I urge you to also read my article, Are We Living in the Biblical Latter Days?” which proves that we are, indeed, living in the “latter days” of the current age allotted to mankind by our Creator God. God has a plan which spans ages (Ephesians 2:7, 3:5, 3:21 and Colossians 1:26). Our generation has been fated to live at the close of our particular age, and climactic events lie ahead of us. The more you know in advance about what is going to happen, the more able you will be to “endure to the end” without being deceived by mammoth deceptions that are about to be sprung on a biblically-ignorant world population.
