A friend sent me the first link which details an effort by China to have the US civilian population disarmed of its firearms. It is presented as a “human rights” issue, but that is laughable given China’s lamentable human rights policies under its Communist regime. What is its real motivation? I’m sure regular readers of this blog know the answer.
Ezekiel 38-39 foretell that Russia, China, Iran and its allies will launch a surprise attack against the nations of the latter day nations of “Israel” (also called the “house of Israel” in Ezekiel 39:22-23, 25) at the end of the prophetic latter days in which we live. That biblical terminology always identifies the descendants of the ten tribes of Israel which went into exile in the 8th century BC and never returned to settle in the of Promised Land [the biblical term “house of Judah” identifies the Jews/Israelis in all latter-day prophecies and that term never appears at all in Ezekiel 38-39.] As those who have read my books or listened to my free audio messages on the topic, it is very easy to prove beyond any shadow of a doubt that the USA, the UK and the “British” nations and many European nations are the modern nations of the ten tribes of Israel. I urge readers who have not done so to read my article, The USA in Biblical Prophecy, for a very brief glimpse of what can be found in my books.
China’s call for the US civilian population to be disarmed is very consistent with the prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39 as China (and Russia, Iran, etc.) badly want to disarm the US civilian population before this attack occurs. Having approximately 270,000,000 firearms and many billions of rounds of ammo in the hands of the US civilian population would make an invasion of Afghanistan (done by both the USSR and USA) look like a “walk in the park” compared to an invasion of the USA. China and Russia know this, and want to assist the naive and gullible portions of the US political set who want to disarm American citizens. Disarming the US citizenry would make the Gog-Magog invasion a vastly easier proposition. Millions of Americans have served in the US military or the National Guards of the 50 states so there is a vast reservoir of military training and skills in the US civilian population. Hunting seasons and NRA and gun-shop training efforts have made many millions of American civilians who have not served in the military also quite familiar with firearms usage.
The first link’s statement that there are approximately 90 guns per every 100 US citizens is found in the second link, which lists per capita numbers of gun ownership in civilian hands. The first link notes that India has the second largest actual number of guns in private hands even though it ranks very low in per capita ownership statistics. I do take fault with this survey in one regard. I think they forgot to include the Israelis in their survey. Having been in Israel, I know that it is an armed camp as almost its entire civilian population is ready to use their firearms to defend the nation if necessary. The third link contains a report (there are many such reports on the internet) documenting that the Obama administration’s very liberal and anti-Second Amendment stance has actually backfired as it has caused American civilians to buy firearms and ammunition in immense numbers. The more the liberal side tries to ban or seize firearms in the USA, the more it stimulates the sale of firearms in the USA.
Maybe, just maybe, there is an inferred reference to the USA’s Second Amendment right to own and bear arms in biblical prophecy. Ezekiel 38-39 prophesies that the nations of the modern house of Israel will be attacked in the latter days and the USA is the obvious pre-eminent military power among the modern nations of the ten tribes of Israel so it is the chief target for the Gog-Magog alliance. Ezekiel 39:3 prophesies that the Israelite nations will be attacked by “arrows” (long-range weapons), and that is consistent with the fact that the USA and all of its allies will be attacked by missiles (modern long-range weapons). However, in Ezekiel 38:21, God calls on the attacked Israelite nations to defend themselves with “swords” (close-quarters weapons such as rifles, shotguns and handguns in a modern context). Since the USA is the pre-eminent Israelite power, the prophecy especially applies to the USA, whose citizens just happen to have, by far, the world’s greatest number of guns in civilian hands. It makes sense that in order for the people of the nation (or nations) invaded by the Gog-Magog alliance to obey God’s call for them to use their close-quarters weapons against the Gog-Magog invaders, they have to have ready access to many such weapons. This prophecy also strongly infers that God will preserve the Second Amendment rights of US citizens into the time when this Gog-Magog invasion will occur. I have no doubt that God inspired the entire wording of the US Constitution, which included the Second Amendment. God was well-aware of all his prophesies for the USA’s future when he inspired the writing of the US Constitution. Perhaps he had Ezekiel 38:21 in mind when he inspired the writers of the US Constitution to include a very liberal right for US citizens to own firearms (a right recently recognized and enshrined in a US Supreme Court ruling).
There is an oft-repeated quote attributed to Japan’s Admiral Yamamoto which was supposedly made sometime during or just prior to World War II. I have heard or read several versions of it, but it goes something like this: “I would never invade America, there would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.” Historically, there is no firm proof he ever made that statement of which I am aware, but his reputed statement captures a lot of truth in it. If God, in his mercy and power, preserves the USA’s Second Amendment rights, the Gog-Magog invaders will find Yamamoto’s reputed statement to be true.
