I was listening to your 9/2/08 Israel National Radio broadcast with Tamar and my mind started thinking of some questions that I hope you will have the time to answer.

Because I was taught that during Christopher Columbus’ time, people believed the world was flat, how is it they didn’t know about all the travels of these ancient tribes?  It was suggested that Christopher Columbus was Jewish, that also would be news to me as I thought he was Christian.  From where did this knowledge come?

This is so fascinating that Solomon probably sent ships to the other side of the world for copper, etc. and that they made return voyages with their ships loaded.  Why is this not taught?  Or am I so old that the history books have been updated since I was in school.

The modern teaching of history in the modern western world is horribly flawed. It may be true that Europeans in the Dark Ages/Middle Ages thought the world was flat, but that belief was based on Greco-Roman ignorance of the real size and shape of our planet.  The Phoenician/Israelites and the Carthaginians (who inherited the Phoenician/Israelite “knowledge of the sea” mentioned in I Kings 9:26-27) knew very well that the world was a round globe as their fleets sailed all over the earth. Biblical records preserve references to the advanced scientific/maritime knowledge of the Israelite civilization. Job 26:7 records that the earth was “hung upon nothing” in outer space and that the “north” part of the planet was an “empty space.” Job 38:29-30 clearly shows the ancient Israelites knew about the polar ice caps as it mentions a location where “the face of the deep is frozen” (i.e. where the surface of the ocean was solid ice). Isaiah 40:22 states the earth had a “circular” shape so the ancient Israelites had to know the world was a sphere. Ezekiel 27:26 mentions the sailors of Tyre went into “the great waters” (the oceans). King David wrote that his fleets did “business in the great waters” (the oceans) and that people went to the “uttermost parts of the sea” (Psalm 139:9).
 
The Phoenician/Israelites had a world maritime/naval monopoly due to their possession of Gibraltar (”the pillars of Hercules”). Their possession of this famous chokepoint allowed them to prevent Greek and Roman vessels from sailing into the Atlantic Ocean. My books cite Aristotle and other Greek writers who knew that Carthage had a secret land westward in the Atlantic which contributed to Phoenician/Israelite/Carthaginian wealth. The Greek descriptions of this ancient land describe North America very well. When one Greek sailor in the 4th century BC, Pytheas, managed to sneak into the Atlantic and sail northward, he was amazed the star constellations changed positions and he deduced that the earth was a sphere. The Phoenicians and Carthaginians had already known for at least a millennium that the world was round before the Greek world “got a clue” to this fact. However, the Greek and Roman myths about a flat earth generally persisted into more recent times.
 
Modern historians are afflicted with a false belief that no one in the entire ancient world could possibly have learned anything scientific before it was learned by someone in the Greek or Roman civilizations. They hold to this erroneous view even though the Bible has many obvious references to scientific knowledge far more advanced than Europeans had in the Dark Ages/ Middle Ages. When the Romans burned the great library of Carthage, they undoubtedly destroyed the extensive maps and sea charts of the entire globe which the Phoenicians/Israelites and Carthaginians had painstakingly developed in the previous 10-14 centuries.
 
Columbus may have been a “Christian” due to forced conversion. In order to be funded by Ferdinand and Isabella for his famous voyages, he would have had to at least be a nominal Christian. I’ve also seen reports that Columbus’ ancestry included Jews, but I have not researched this subject in detail. I have seen reliable reports that Columbus brought Hebrew translators with him on his voyage as he thought he might find Hebrew speakers when he sailed west across the Atlantic. Spain was part of both the Phoenician/Israelite and Carthaginian Empires. It was anciently called “Iberia,” named after “Eber,” the namesake of the Hebrews. Since Spain was for a very long time in the Phoenician/Israelite and Carthaginian Empires, Some ancient sea charts and records likely still survived in ancient Spain for Columbus to consult before he began his voyages of “rediscovering” the New World.
 
You ask why this information is not taught in schools. The answer is simple. The fanciful dogma of evolution is now force-fed to students throughout the western world. If the truths of the ancient world were known, it would affirm the Bible and destroy evolutionary myths. Revelation 12:9 foretold the world would be massively deceived in the latter days, and the theory of evolution has been a primary tool in this work of deception.

I loved your recent interview on Israel Radio, thanks. The HS has chosen to lead me over the last two years into an understanding regarding the Lost Ten Tribes. You are ahead of me so the HS  will be teaching me through you for a while.
 
I have a question related to your last post, regarding the Prince of Meshech and Tubal. On January 6, 2008, the re-convened Sanhedrin along with the New Jewish Congress and The Temple Mount institute created a document which was later presented to President Bush while he was in Israel. I am sure you are familiar with this. This document refers to President Bush as the “Chief Prince of Meshech and Tubal-Leader of the West.” What significance do you place on this document and it’s initial statement regarding our President.

Thanks for your positive feedback re: my recent interview on Israel National Radio. I’m gratified that it helped you understand more about the much-overlooked history of the ten tribes of Israel. There is so much information about the ten tribes of Israel in my books that I could only address the “high points” of their migrational history even in a two-hour interview. Regarding your other topic, I’m aware that the cited comment re: President Bush caused a stir in Jewish circles as well. I certainly wouldn’t presume to be able to tell you what the Sanhedrin meant in its statement. Maybe they have an information office or a website that provides some follow-up clarification. Genesis 10:2 confirms that Meshech and Tubal descended from Japheth, not Shem. Japheth is today mostly located in Asia, and Meshech’s name can be seen in the consonants of “Moscow” even as Tubal’s name can be seen in the consonants of the Russian city of Tobolsk and the Tobol River. Those who have researched the migrations of the ten tribes of Israel realize they are Semitic peoples and that their modern descendants are located among the Caucasian populations of Europe, North America, Australia, etc.
 
An Orthodox Jewish author and friend of mine, Yair Davidy, offered clarifying commentary about the Sanhedrin’s statement at his website, www.britam.org, after it was issued. For more information, I suggest that you check the archives of his website to see if his commentaries are still accessible.

It is usually difficult to try and evaluate the ethnic origins of individuals. If your friend is looking specifically for possible Jewish roots, I suggest he contact Yair Davidy’s website at www.britam.org. This website has more information on this subject than any other I know about. If you or he wish to explore possible roots among the other tribes of Israel, my best suggestion would be to search the information available in my books about the various tribes. The previous blog discussed the rapidly-developing field of “invisibility” technology. There is much public information available on this topic and a web search will access many articles for you to read. This blog will cite two more reports and discuss how new “invisibility” technology could be used to fulfill specific biblical prophecies for the latter days. Christians need to be aware of how this technology could easily be used to deceive them into abandoning or misplacing their faith in future years. First I’ll discuss the technological information that is known and then we’ll examine very feasible ways in which this technology could specifically fulfill biblical prophecies.
 
The previous blog discussed military uses for this technology and its possible presence in the high-tech world of the pre-Flood civilization. When the “invisibility” technology is deployable, it will be possible for the biblical figure called the “Anti-Christ” to easily fake miracles in order to dupe and sway the nations. Frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised if this point hasn’t already been reached in secret laboratories in the world’s more advanced nations.
 
Consider the first link below (from the BBC). It states that scientists at the University of California, led by Xiang Zhang, “have developed a material that can bend light around 3D objects making them ‘disappear,’” and that “invisibility cloaks large enough to hide people” are possible in the future. Given that an item in the archives of my blogs reported that the British military already demonstrated the use of an “invisibility” cloak large enough to hide an army tank, I’d say that maybe that day has already arrived. No doubt, what is being achieved in this cutting-edge technology is far more advanced than what will be publicly acknowledged. The BBC article reports that there is more than one kind of invisibility cloak being developed. One involves “nanometre-scale stacks of silver and magnesium flouride in a ‘fishnet’ structure, while another made use of nanowires made of silver.” If more than one way to make invisibility technology deployable is already being acknowledged, it supports the viewpoint that the technology is already understood and deployable in more than one way.
 
A related article on this topic was printed in my local newspaper, but I cannot find it on the internet even with a websearch so I’ll cite it for readers of this blog instead of offering a link The article was entitled “Improved invisibility devices emerge” and it had a “USA Today” byline when it was published in the Sioux Falls Argus-Leader on August 17, 2008 (p. 4D). The article reported that Xiang Zhang’s team of scientists at the University of California had already developed “two visible-light ‘invisibility cloak’ prototypes,” and it quotes physicist Ulf Leonhardt of Scotland’s University of St. Andrews as saying that this invisibility technology has “applications that almost resemble magic.” It also cites the journal, Science, as reporting that “one of the new prototypes is a woven fishnet of silver nanowires, each one about 10,000 times thinner than a human hair.” It reports the other invisibility prototype was made with “21 stacked grids of silver and magnesium fluoride of similarly small sizes.” These articles indicate that silver is the most important raw material in the efforts to develop invisibility cloaks. Apparently, unless you have access to silver, you cannot develop this technology. If you have a lot of weaponry that you want to cloak, you will apparently need considerable quantities of silver.
 
Now let’s consider biblical prophecies which could be fulfilled by “invisibility” cloaks. In Matthew 24:23-27 Jesus Christ warned “there shall arise false Christs and false prophets [who] shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect” Verse 26 indicates that there will be reports that Christ has appeared “in the desert”‘ or has entered “secret chambers,” but in verse 25 Jesus reminds us that he gave us advance warning about this. Matthew 24’s prophecy was part of Jesus Christ’s answer to his disciples’ question about events that would signal the latter days were present and that his return was very near (Matthew 24:3).  This prophecy warns us that “signs and wonders” involving false Christs and prophets will be so impressive that even “the very elect” would almost be deceived. This indicates that the false Christs and prophets will be doing some very impressive miracles or wonders to deceive the masses.
 
II Thessalonians 2:3-15 contains a prophecy that a “man of sin” will be revealed who will deceive the masses into thinking that he, a mere human leader, “is God.” How will he do this? Verse 9 says the coming of this “man of sin” will be accompanied by “the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders” (emphasis added). Verse 10 add that this “man of sin” will use these “signs and lying wonders” to impose a mass deception on the world’s masses who will experience “strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.”
 
Think how invisibility technology could be used to do all kinds of “signs” and “lying wonders” which could be used to deceive the masses into believing that the ones calling forth these “miracles” were either prophets of God or even “God” himself. If invisibility cloaks can be put around a person or an object, a team of technicians could work with a so-called “prophet” or “false Christ” to pull off the appearance of doing miracles that would actually be orchestrated with high-tech “smoke and mirrors.” A false prophet could announce to a crowd that he will make a public figure appear on a stage “out of nowhere,” but the person will actually already be on stage, albeit in a “cloaked” energy field. When the cloaking field is deactivated, the person will magically “appear” into view, awing the crowd. This could be done with statues other objects as well. The vast majority of people will be totally deceived by such “lying wonders.” Invisibility cloaks could also be used to fake angelic visitations. An “invisible” person could become wholly or partially visible to proclaim some “divine message from God” when, in fact, it is merely a human operative whose invisibility cloak was temporarily (or partially) dropped in order for the person to deliver a “faked” message from God. There will likely be some greedy and deceptive “religious” figures who will be happy to cooperate in this kind of deception in order to obtain financial gain. Consider also the geopolitical usages for invisibility technologies. A nation could arrange for its own intelligence agents to “appear” to the leaders of a hostile nation to inform them that “it is God’s will that you disable all your nuclear weapons for a new age of peace” when the whole experience was designed to dupe the target nation into disarming so it could be attacked.
 
Perhaps the return of Jesus Christ will itself be faked to validate the world figures called “the beast and false prophet” in Revelation 13:11-18. This prophecy indicates that the masses will be “deceived” by “great wonders” and “miracles” One such miracle will be to make “fire come down from heaven in the sight of men.” This kind of “lying wonder” could easily be done with invisibility cloaks. If a helicopter-like hovercraft was cloaked by an invisibility shield and it could hover silently (because it doesn’t use normal propulsion systems), a “false prophet” could “call fire down from heaven” and the cooperating technicians inside the cloaked craft could “activate” a stream of fire or fire their real weaponry into the atmosphere. The gullible crowds would go mad with “belief” that God was working through the “false prophet.”
 
The fact that scientific journals are openly reporting that invisibility technology and “cloaked” prototypes are already in existence argues that these technologies could be deployed either in warfare or in order to deceive people in the near future. When these faked “miracles” begin to occur, believers should not lose their faith or fall for these deceptions. You may have to “walk by faith” and not by what your eyes are apparently seeing. In Matthew 24:26, Jesus warns his followers to “believe it not” when “greet signs and wonders” are done and proclamations are made that “Jesus has returned” or “the Messiah has arrived” in some desert location or that he is now in “secret chambers.” This could literally occur with invisibility technology. A “fake Jesus” could appear and then vanish into “the secret chambers” (i.e. a person pretending to be Jesus could appear and then vanish by activating a cloaking device). This could also be used to deceive non-Christians. The beast and false prophet could elevate themselves to world-ruling status by having their “invisibility” technicians arrange “appearances” by whatever Messiah-figure is anticipated by world religions. Christians could be duped by miracles and visitations made manifest with the help of invisibility cloaks for faked appearances by Jesus. “Moses” or “Elijah” could appear to Jews, the “Hidden Imam”‘ could appear to Iranian Shiite mullahs while “Muhammed” could appear to the Sunnis, “Buddha” could appear to Buddhists, Hindu deities could appear to the Hindus, etc. There is really no end to the “miracles” and “visitations” which could be faked with invisibility cloaks.
 
You have now been forewarned about this possible way to deceive you. I John 4:1 warns that believers need to “try [test] the spirits” to see whether miracles, visitations or spirits are from God or not because there will be “many false prophets” unleashed into the world in the latter days who will be doing “wonders.” There will also be two true prophets called the Two Witnesses, who will at some point in their three and 1/2 year ministry, do genuine miracles empowered by God himself. Don’t believe any faked “coming” of Jesus Christ. Matthew 24:27 prophesies that the true coming of Christ will be like “lightning” filling the heavens, not some cheesy local event staged by high-tech smoke and mirrors. Satan’s servants know the real prophecies of God so they will try and duplicate them as best as they can to dupe the masses. They know that the Two Witnesses will call fire down from heaven and actually kill their attackers (Revelation 11:5), so Satan’s deceivers will surely try to duplicate such an event. Even if “lying wonders” really do kill people, that doesn’t mean it is from God (an invisible cloaked hovercraft or surface weapon could issue forth “visible” fire from its weaponry and kill people). Also, when the real Jesus Christ comes to set up his millennial kingdom on earth, he will lead an army of the resurrected saints and many angels to execute the beast and false prophet (the top human political and religious/spiritual leaders at the end of this age) and their human armies (Revelation 19:11-21). The real Jesus will place all Satanic/Luciferian spirits into a heavenly prison and replace all human governments with new leaders selected from his resurrected saints who will be made immortal (Revelation 20:1-4). Until you see that actually happen, you are not witnessing the real return of Jesus Christ. The real return of Christ will also occur during a terrible war and/or disaster which is threatening to exterminate all fleshly life on earth (Matthew 24:21-22). If you do not see that also happening, you are not witnessing the real return of Jesus Christ.
 
Keep these truths in mind when all hell breaks loose in the world in the future as the latter days draw to a conclusion. If you do, you will be able to stand in the faith. Having foreknowledge about the religious deceptions that could be achieved with invisibility technology should greatly strengthen your “shield of faith” (Ephesians 6:16) in the years ahead of us.

My webmaster sent me your inquiry. There is a possibility that Yair Davidy and I will co-host a seminar on the ten tribes in the future, but no date has been set yet. It will depend considerably on Yair’s travel schedule and available funding. Currently, there is inadequate funding for the event. If such a seminar does get scheduled, it will be featured at my website!
 
Last year, I did speak twice at a Conference in Portland, OR. I assume that is the one you referenced. I was not actually an organizer of the event. The host/organizing group was Beit Emet Congregation in Vancouver, WA. The messages were recorded, and I assume they would still be available. In recent decades, the nation-states of the Western world have been gradually surrendering pieces of their sovereignty to globalist, supranational organizations. These supranational organizations have leaders who are not elected by the people and they are dominated by global elites who wield wealth and power. The vanquished World War II foes, Germany and Japan were successfully absorbed into the family of western nations and this trend toward supranationalism. The western elites thought that the same thing would happen with Russia and China after the “end of the Cold War.”
 
After the USSR fell, Russia was seen as a source of immense raw materials that western corporations could exploit and China was seen as a vast nation of coolies who could build an endless supply of cheap goods for the western corporations to sell to the world’s customers. However, Russia and China have not cooperated with the plan that the western elites had set out for them. Russia’s Putin jailed the kleptocrats in Russia who were cooperating in the West’s plunder of Russian raw materials and he has steadily made Russia a growing financial and military power financed by the very energy wealth the western corporations thought they could exploit for themselves. China is historically inscrutable, but it has steadily gained much leverage over the USA’s decisions due to China’s vast dollar reserves and China has already embarked on a military expansion much like Hitler’s Germany did in the run-up to World War II. Russia and China are acting like traditional nation states who see the West in a weakened state so they intend to exploit that weakness. That is how the game of geopolitics has always been played.
 
The West has created a host of internationalist entities since the end of World War II: the UN, the IMF, the BIS, NATO, the EU, the G-7 (now the G-8 with Russia in it), UNESCO, and other entities with “alphabet soup” acronyms. The western elites refer to emerging powers as “groups of nations” instead of the nation-states that they are. For example, the merging powers of Brazil, Russia, India and China are called the “BRIC” nations as if they were a supranational bloc to be moved around on a global chessboard instead of the nation-states they really are. The resurgence of nation-states acting militarily in their own national interests has seemingly shocked the western elites, whose reaction to Russia’s invasion of Georgia reminds me of the reaction of a deer “frozen in the headlights” of an oncoming car.
 
As recently as the July-August issue of Foreign Affairs, the flagship publication of the Council of Foreign Relations (CFR–another influential internationalist entity), Russia was deeply slighted in one of that publication’s featured articles. An article by C. Fred Bergsten entitled “A Partnership of Equals,” discusses what he believed were the three “entities” in the world (notice his reluctance to use the term “nation”) which qualify as “economic superpowers.” He cites the USA, the EU and China as those three “entities.” Russia is ignored in his analysis. Mr. Bergsten’s article examines the qualifications of India, Japan and South Korea to work with Australia and New Zealand in leading a new “ASEAN” entity (an acronym for Association of Southeast Asian Nations–another internationalist entity). Germany rates a mere mention, But Mr. Bergsten does not regard Russia as being worthy of the slightest mention in his analysis of the great powers who will shape the future. This in spite of the fact that Russia is the globe’s largest nuclear power, its second-largest oil-exporting nation after Saudi Arabia and it possesses vast tracts of natural resources. Mr. Bergsten devotes most of the article to China and the USA (calling them “The Big Two”–again dissing Russia).
 
Mr. Bergsten’s article seems to be an effort by the western elites to urge China to  “join the agenda of the western elites” instead of opposing them in a nation-state fashion. Mr. Bergsten does have quite lucid comments about China’s threat to the West. He notes that “the speed at which China has risen is difficult…to comprehend,” and added that a Chinese ambassador to the WTO (another internationalist entity) “reportedly thundered, ‘We know we have to play the game your way now, but in ten years we will set the rules’ (emphasis added).” That sounds like China is a nation-state prepared to act as a nation-state against the western elites. China’s recent Olympics in Beijing was an amazing spectacle of China’s wealth and ability to coordinate large masses of its people according to the will of the governing Communist Party. The Olympics were a peaceful event, but China sent the message that it can direct its people with the same organized precision militarily as well.
 
Maybe Russia read Mr. Bergsten’s article and got really angry. Maybe Russia was already preparing to seize part of Georgia and the timing was simply coincidental. Russia and China are strategic allies now, and while China fixated the world’s attention on the Olympics, Russia went to war. It went to war as a classic nation-state acting in its own interests, taking advantage of the deep economic/military weakness that now characterizes NATO/ the EU.
 
Russia has openly ignored the “cease-fire” negotiated by President Sarkozy of France. After damaging much of Georgia, it first recognized South Ossetia and Abkhazia (Georgian provinces) as separate nations. A few days later, Russia simply announced South Ossetia would become part of Russia itself. The Russian “anschluss” with a part of Georgia has been completed much like the “anschluss” of the Sudetenland of Czechoslovakia was accomplished by Nazi Germany prior to World War II. Even as Europe dithered when Hitler seized part of Czechoslovakia, it now dithers when Russia seizes South Ossetia. Indeed, the EU or NATO can do nothing to stop it. The USA and NATO are grievously afflicted with “imperial overreach.” They cannot defend their own core states of Europe, much less give a military guarantee to Eastern Europe and Baltic nations that they can protect them against Russia. Trying to include the Ukraine and Georgia in NATO was “imperial overreach” on an obscene scale. Russia has now demonstrated that if it wants to do so, it can take over the entire Caucasus region at will. The impotence of NATO is palpable.
 
Like a shark smelling blood in the water, Russia has now announced a new set of principles in which it declared that it will “defend Russian citizens and business interests abroad,” and that it would “claim a unique sphere of influence in the world” (the first two links below discuss this new Russian edict). Since many Russians citizens live in previous Soviet states (Ukraine, the Baltic republics, the “-stan” nations of Central Asia), Russia is announcing that it will send its tanks into whatever nations it feels are “endangering Russian citizens.” The most immediate danger would seem to be faced by the Ukraine and the Baltic states. However, since Russia also announced it would defend Russian “business interests” outside Russia, this allows for Russia to openly seize the energy pipelines passing through Georgia from the Caspian Sea to Turkey if it feels it jeopardizes “Russia’s business interests” (i.e. its monopolistic control of European nations via Russian energy supplies).
 
An article in the September 1, 2008 Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that as this new edict was made, Vladimir Putin was “inspecting progress on a trans-Siberian oil pipeline to China and the Pacific Ocean, a clear warning to Europe that Russia could find alternative customers for its energy exports.” Fittingly, it added that Putin was interviewed while “hunting a Siberian tiger with a tranquilizer gun” (see third link below). Putin is now portraying Russia’s new macho image.
 
Russia has also dramatically increased its use of strategic bombers to “pressure” other nations in a military manner (see fourth link), and has threatened to spend almost “half its budget on a new arms race” (see fifth link below). Russia has also test-fired a cutting edge new missile (see sixth link below), and various web articles have reported that a Russian admiral has bragged the Russian fleet can sink the NATO warships in the Black Sea in a matter of “minutes” (see www.debka.com for one example). That may be braggadocio by the Russian admiral, but it indicates how deeply Russia is now “feeling its oats” in its resurgent stage.
 
NATO and US planners never prepared for this eventuality. They thought Russia and China would become happy little cogs in the globalist entitles that the western elites were arranging for them. Russia and China have rebelled against the diminished roles that overconfident western elites envisioned for them. Russia and China are both powerful, nationalistic nation-states whose people are rallying behind their national governments. Putin doesn’t need to rig elections in Russia. His strong leadership of a resurgent Russia makes him a very popular leader in his nation. The Communist Party’s iron hand still governs China, but its people are very proud of China’s new power, wealth and prominence. Shiite fervor manifests itself via the nation-state of Iran, which is allied to Russia and China.
 
Those who are Lord of the Rings fans will appreciate my next analogy. In “The Two Towers” movie, King Théoden of the “northern kingdom ” of Rohan faces an outbreak of war being declared on him by Sauroman’s army. In initial denial, Théoden states: “I will not risk open war.” Lord Aragorn, the hero, wakes him up to the obvious danger with these words: “war is upon you–whether you would risk it or not.”  Someone needs to tell the flaccid nations of NATO and the western alliance something similar: “a new Cold War is upon you, whether you would risk it or not.”
 
In order to meet the new Cold War posed by vigorous nation-states like Russia and China, the western alliance needs vigorous nation-states of its own. But it has weakened its own western nations by subsuming them into bureaucratic globalist entities toward whom the western peoples owe scarce allegiance or loyalty. If a call goes out to Europe’s people to enlist in new armies to “defend the EU bureaucrats” against new Russian armies, will even a regiment show up? However, if globalist entities take a back seat and nation-states rally their own people to defend “motherland” and “fatherland,” millions could rally to the cause. People will sacrifice for their homeland in ways they would never consider in behalf of faceless bureaucrats in some internationalist entity. If the western elites do not want to face the grim fate Russia and China have planned for them, they need to “reverse course” and start strengthening their own nation states.
 
Time is running out. Ezekiel 38 reveals that an alliance of angry nation-states led by Russia and including China and Iran will attack the nation-states of the western world (called “the house of Israel” or “Israel” in Ezekiel 38-39) at the end of our age. The Bible consistently uses those terms to describe the nations of the ten tribes of Israel, it does not use those terms to describe the Jews (which are called “Judah” in biblical terminology). Genesis 48-49 offer many clues about where those ten tribes are today. Ephraim and Manasseh, the leading tribes of the house of Israel, will be “brother nations” bearing the name of Isaac (Genesis 21:12) upon them (think “Saxon,” the Romanized name of the Scythian “Sacae” from which the Saxons descended). Genesis 48:19 prophesies that Manasseh will be a single great nation while Ephraim will be a multitude (think “commonwealth”) of nations. As brother nations they will share a common language and culture and enjoy such a “special relationship” in the latter days that they are described by their common name, “Joseph,” in Genesis 49:22-26. Manasseh is the USA and the British nations are Ephraim. Many of the NATO nations are composed of their other “brother” tribes of Israel (all are identified in my books, which can be ordered on-line at the publisher’s website: www.bibleblessings.net). Hosea 1:10 prophesied that the ten tribes of Israel would be greatly increased in numbers after they went into exile. People tend to mistakenly think the ten tribes “died out” or would be forsaken of God. No way! God promised not only to make them large nations, but also in Jeremiah 51:5 (written over a century after the ten tribes went into exile), God stated clearly that he would NOT forsake the ten tribes of Israel.
 
God is shaping world events exactly according to his latter-day prophesies of Genesis 49, Ezekiel 38-39, etc. Today a new Cold War is befalling the western world, a development for which they are ill-prepared. Ezekiel 38 warns the modern nations of the western world that a “hot war” is eventually going to come upon them and it will be waged by Russia, China, Iran and their allies. It will come (in the words of Lord Aragorn of LOTR fame): “whether they would risk it or not.” The angry Russian bear is out of its cage. It is already gobbling up territory and threatening to seize even more. The eventual fulfillment of Ezekiel 38 is staring us in the face right now…in our time. The West better wake up soon and start preparing for the onslaught to come.

Previous blogs at this website have examined the possibility (or “probability”) that the USA and the West have already deployed weaponry which appear to be “invisible” to the human eye (and maybe to radar as well). A previous blog about the destruction of the Syrian nuclear weapons site being built with North Korean help discussed the possibility that the aerial vehicles which carried out the attack utilized a new “invisibility” technology which enabled them to carry out that attack without the sophisticated Russian defensive systems being able to detect or repel them. It is still possible that American or Israeli aircraft utilized advanced ECM (electronic counter-measures) techniques to carry out the attack without any losses, but that may only be a cover story for what really happened.
 
A previous blog included a link documenting that a British tank has already been successfully “cloaked” with an invisibility technology. It is one thing to cloak an advancing tank, but quite another to “cloak” a flying aircraft. The technology would have to hide an aerial vehicle from all angles of perspective to be truly effective. It is my belief that if such a weapon has not yet been developed, it is close to being deployed. Please consider the following surprising biblical and secular evidence.
 
The Bible states that mankind was created “in the image of the Elohim” (i.e. “the Godhead” itself). Psalm 8:5 states mankind was made “a little lower than the Elohim” (the KJV incorrectly renders this as “angels” as the translators apparently couldn’t bring themselves to accept the meaning literally). The pre-Flood world went through its “industrial revolution” and had a division of labor society like our own where full-time musicians, metal-workers, and agriculturalists all pursued their own professions (Genesis 4:20-22). The book of Jasher records that pre-Flood mankind were mixing the species of animals (Jasher IV, 18). This can only be possible with genetic engineering, which is only possible with high-tech labs at least as advanced as we have today. Daniel 12:4 prophesied the latter days would be a time when “knowledge would increase,” and Jesus Christ prophesied in Matthew 24:37 that the pre-Flood society would mirror the society on earth in the latter days. The word “increase” in Daniel’s prophecy is the same one used to describe how the waters of the Deluge “increased” on the earth in the Flood of Noah’s time (Genesis 7:17), so this means Daniel’s prophecy calls for an exponential increase in mankind’s knowledge in the latter days, even as the waters in Noah’s time increased exponentially upon the earth. Until God confused all the languages at Babel after the Flood (making all nations suddenly illiterate), mankind was rebuilding the pre-Flood technologies to the point that Genesis 11:6 records God observing: “…nothing will be restrained from them which they have imagined to do.” God meant that literally.
 
A common misconception is that the tower of Babel was a high ziggurat. That makes no sense. God could care less how high a building is constructed. The “tower of Babel” represented a quantum leap in knowledge that had to be stopped because it was not within God’s plan to have mankind again deploy such high technologies until the latter days. When you consider that Genesis 11:4 records mankind was building a “tower” whose “top” would “reach unto heaven,” you can better appreciate this when you put it in a high-tech context. We have lots of “towers” today whose “tops” (or nose-cones) “reach unto heaven” when they are launched. Think Cape Kennedy moon-shots, Saturn rockets and ICBMs, and you will better understand where mankind’s technology was at just before God supernaturally cut off all pre-Flood knowledge from the nations by making them not only unable to understand each other but also rendering them unable to read anything in the pre-Flood language as well. This effectively put mankind “in the stone age” as every nation had to develop its own writing system for the new spoken language God gave each nation. For purposes of this blog, I wanted readers to understand the Bible has both a historical and prophetic context for high-tech knowledge (and weaponry) in both very ancient and modern times.
 
The first link below discusses the “Vimana” aircraft which the historical writings in India record existed in very ancient times. These accounts relate that ancient mankind not only had aircraft, but that they could make them “invisible” and that they possessed what sounds like “death ray” weapons. It is my belief that this record preserves an account of the military aircraft which existed in the time of Noah and perhaps also in the immediate post-Flood period before God confused their languages. If mankind had “invisible” aerial vehicles in Noah’s civilization, Daniel’s prophecy that latter-day mankind would experience an exponential increase in knowledge and Christ’s prophecy that the latter days would mirror the time of Noah takes on new meaning. This first link also mentions there was an ancient propulsion system based on the powers “latent in mercury.” The ancients apparently had advanced their scientific knowledge far ahead of where our scientists are today. That is, unless our scientists have unlocked the secrets of mercury and created such propulsion systems within modern, secret, “cloaked” aircraft. There are so many “UFO sightings” (in which aerial craft come into view and then suddenly “disappear” or they make movements no conventional craft could make) that it argues that there really are such mostly-secret aerial weapons (”aircraft” in the conventional sense wouldn’t really describe them) in modern arsenals.
 
Let’s look at some accounts that an awareness is leaking out that the USA (and perhaps other nations) have “invisible” aircraft already. The second link reports that scientists have made considerable progress in understanding how to render objects “invisible” by refracting or bending light around them. It also reports that two substances are essential in this process; Silver and Magnesium Flouride. The third link below reports that engineers in the USA, Japan and the UK are all working on invisibility technologies although no one is willing to acknowledge the existence of operational weapons systems (which is hardly a surprise). Remember the British already have demonstrated the existence of an invisibility cloak for tanks (see blog archives for this story), so this technology is already way past the research stage anhas already been made operational to a degree already. If this much has been officially released, how far have the secret technologies advanced? [Star Trek fans will understand it when I say that maybe those cloaked “Klingon Warbirds” already have modern counterparts.]
 
The population of the earth was shocked when the atomic bomb technology was revealed for the first time in warfare (it was so secret that even Vice-President Truman did not know about “the Manhattan Project” until he became President). The Stealth Fighters unveiled in the 1991 Persian Gulf War also amazed the world. Perhaps a new war in the future will reveal invisible weaponry and other weapons systems so advanced that the world will wonder “who is able to make war” with those who possess such weaponry (see Revelation 13:4). Don’t expect to see any “official” acknowledgment of these weapons systems until they are used in combat for the first time.
 
The fourth link below adds more information re: how close mankind is to deploying invisible weaponry. It reports that “airplanes are ideal objects for cloaking,” and that “Scientists predict that invisibility will be possible for objects of any shape and size within the next decade.” I wouldn’t be surprised if more than one Air Force in the world already has squadrons of such aircraft deployed and useable. The USA has reportedly invested mega-billions in “black” weapons projects in recent decades which do not show up in any budget report and we have long had technologies and computing power available which make the 1960s look like the “kindergarten” era of modern science. Remember that the USA went to the moon with vacuum tube technology and slide-rules four decades ago during that “kindergarten” era of modern science. One wonders how far the secret weapons projects have advanced since then?
 
Christ’s prophecy that the latter days would mirror the pre-Flood civilization means that we should expect modern mankind to again reach the same technological “tipping point” that mankind was at perhaps four millennia ago when “nothing will be restrained from them that they imagine to do” (Genesis 11:6). I think we are already there…in secret labs and facilities that no government acknowledges or talks about.
 
Mankind did not evolve. Evolution is impossible by any scientific explanation. Those who believe in evolution are fools (Psalm 14:1). Mankind was created as a very special creation of the Divine Elohim. the Divine Elohim made mankind “in their own image and likeness” (Genesis 1:26-27). Adam and Eve were made with mind-power in the image of the Elohim (!), but they were limited by mortal bodies which can die. Adam and Eve sinned and mankind has been in a “fallen” state ever since. God has had to intervene both at the time of the Flood (Genesis 6) and at Babel (Genesis 11:7-9) to prevent mankind from destroying itself with technologies which it lacked the character to control properly. Matthew 24:21-22 prophesies another such period is at hand.

 I am thinking that maybe this whole Georgia operation is a cover to get large numbers of Russian ground troops into georgia before making a mad dash for Israel.

The passes through the caucusus are narrow and would be impossible to get large amounts of troops through there fast.Now is the time to do it while their clear of snow.The kodori gorge is a main pass and it enter abklhazia and the georgians controlled it till this operation.Another pass enters south ossetia from north ossetia(russia).Could we be witnessing a staging of the forces to attack the nation of Israel proper?

Also I believe God is preparing the way for these hordes to attack the northern coast of Alaska and canada by clearing the ice pack out of the arctic ocean.Their is now a corridor of ice free water all along the coast of siberia and alaska canada.They couldn’t stage a naval attack straight across the pole yet but it would be possible to squeeze along the coasts at this time of year.

A few more years and they may be able to sweep straight across the pole(the shortest route).Their ar large open valleys in the yukon and british columbia that would facilitate a large troop movement with plenty of grass in the summer for horses.

By the way I saw in the news the cossacks were moblizing to supposedly fight the georgians when this first started.Then a blackout on cossacks,one of the meanest horse armies to exist.I’ve never been so excited to get attacked in my life.I don’t intend on being here for the actual attack anyway but wherever I am I want to sit back and watch Jesus step in and put a butt whoopin on those who would annhiliate his chosen people even though those very same people might deserve it.

Your thoughts about the growing ice-free zone in the Arctic Ocean parallel my own. I’ve also thought that an ice-free Arctic would allow for Russian naval convoys to continuously shuttle Russian/Chinese troops to Alaska in the Arctic Ocean a time of war and have those troops drive southward into North America in an ever-growing stream. When the Gog/Magog invasion starts, Russian Spetnaz troops will seize key Alaskan airports and sabotage as many US military installations as possible everywhere in America. By seizing key Alaskan airports, Russia will also be able to launch an around-the-clock airlift of Russian/Chinese troops and military equipment into Alaskan airports and send them southward into North American at greatest possible speed. Via both air and sea, the Gog/Magog forces will be poured into Alaska and sent southward across Canada into the USA.
 
Canada has minimal military forces to resist an invasion and the US army has been greatly reduced in size and mostly sent overseas to fight costly wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Even many US National Guard units have been sent overseas. North America is practically undefended–like “cities without walls” just as Ezekiel 38:11-12 prophesied. With so few military units actually stationed in the USA, what American forces will be available to fight a large Gog/Magog invasion forces coming out of the north? You can be sure Russian/Chinese subs will be massed in the Bering Sea and North Atlantic to prevent the US Navy from interfering with the rapid shuttle of Russian/Chinese troops into Alaska.  Ezekiel 38:21 shows God intends for the Israelite nations to fight back with their remaining weaponry, but Ezekiel 38:20-39:8 shows it will still take Divine intervention to prevent the success of the Russian/Chinese invasion.
 
The Israelite nations in Europe would also be attacked from the north as Russian forces would pour southward out of the Kola Peninsula and from Kaliningrad, a Russian-controlled zone in northern Europe. Ezekiel 38 reveals the Israelite nations are mostly attacked from the north (Ezekiel 38:15), while the modern house of Judah (the Jews) will be attacked mostly from the east. Revelation 16:12 shows the “kings of the east”‘ will attack westward across the Euphrates River and Zechariah 14 describes the warfare when those forces reach Israeli soil. The “kings of the east” is just another descriptive name for what Ezekiel 38 calls the Gog/Magog alliance (which is composed of numerous eastern nations). Daniel 11 references both these age-ending northern and eastern attacks as it prophesies the king of the north’s domain will be attacked from the “north” and the “east” at the very end of our age. Europe would certainly be attacked from both the north and east.
 
Its a pity that the modern Western leaders have rejected the Bible. The Bible gives us an advance insight into the Russian/Chinese battle plan in Ezekiel 38 (we are told the motive for/main direction of the attack as well as which nations will conspire to attack us). Western leaders are heedless of the growing danger they now face.
 
Your comment on Cossacks is also interesting as it brings up possible “low tech” ways to wage asymmetrical war in the modern world. China has reportedly stressed being able to wage an asymmetrical war against the Western nations. If several divisions of Cossack cavalry forces were landed in Alaska and sent southward with modern weaponry to seize numerous strategically important places, their horses could live off the land (as you noted), they would not need gasoline supplies and they would not need paved roads to advance. Ezekiel  39:9-10 curiously mentions that a great mass of “wooden” weaponry will needs to be burned after this final Ezekiel 38-39 war. It is easy to understand this passage as merely being an allegorical reference for modern weapons, but it may prove to have a literal application as well. The British RAF made and used thousands of Mosquito bombers and fighter aircraft in World War II which were made of “molded plywood” (see attached link) so there is a modern precedent for using wooden weaponry even in aircraft. Modern people tend to forget the British bombed Berlin with wood-based, bomber aircraft. Indeed, if Britain could make thousands of wooden aircraft in World War II, Russia could do the same thing today. One wonders if non-metallic wooden aircraft wouldn’t have valuable “stealth technology” applications as wooden aircraft might not show up on defensive radar screens built to detect metallic aircraft!. Ezekiel 38:16 prophesies the Russian surprise attack will “come as a cloud” from out of the north so it has to include a vast aerial attack. One wonders what Russia is building in its secret weapons facilities deep in the Ural Mountains which no westerners are allowed to see. We’ll have to wait and see, but God may have given us a surprising insight to some unconventional future Gog/Magog weaponry and tactics in Ezekiel 39:9-10.
 
What will ultimately trigger the Gog/Magog attack against the USA, NATO, the Israeli and their allies? The above invasion scenario would become instantly feasible for Russia and China if American and Western leaders were ever gullible and stupid enough to agree to a treaty destroying all nuclear weapons. This would briefly cause the world to have an exultant celebration that it was entering a “new age of peace,” but it would actually be making a global conventional world war almost certain. It is the existence of nuclear weapons in America’s arsenal that kept the USSR at bay in the Cold War and those same nuclear weapons now keep Russia, China and Iran from waging a global world war today.
 
A global nuclear weaponry treaty which resulted in the end of nuclear weapons would make the Gog/Magog war of Ezekiel 38 very imminent, in my view. Russia and (especially) China would be happy to sustain millions of casualties to successfully invade and conquer the nations of the western world.  Ezekiel 38 guarantees they will try to do so. I Thessalonians 5:2-3 prophesies that “the Day of the Lord” will come at a time when the world’s population mistakenly thinks a time of global “peace and safety” has arrived, when, in fact, “sudden destruction” comes quickly on all of them. The banning of nuclear weapons would be hailed as a time of “peace and safety” by the world, but it would actually bring warfare very quickly as the USA and the West would lack a deterrent to a Russian/Chinese/Iranian invasion. One more thought: even if the world destroyed its nuclear weaponry, there are other kinds of weapons of mass destruction left. Chemical/biological weapons exist and nations are inventing new mass casualty weapons such as the Chinese nanotechnology bomb to wipe out human populations in a target area (see previous blogs at this website for information on this Chinese weapon).

Thanks for the link you sent which detailed how the Russian army looted the occupied region of Georgia of much of its wealth. This Russian looting of Georgia helps explain why Russia was so slow in honoring its agreement to pull its soldiers out of Georgian regions not in Abkhazia or South Ossetia. As you correctly note, Ezekiel 38 prophesies that the Gog/Magog alliance will also seek to loot the modern Israelite nations of their wealth and possessions. Ezekiel 38:12 states this openly, and verse 13 indicates that Tarshish, Sheba and Dedan and the “young lion” (or “young tiger” nations) will see this right away. I’ll post the link you sent with our exchange at the website so others can see it as well.
 
There is much to be said about the inherited DNA traits of nations. For example, Judges 12:6 relates that the Israelite tribe of Ephraim was known, even in ancient times, as being uniquely characterized by “dropping their h’s” when they talked. One of the numerous pieces of evidence that the tribe of Ephraim in located in modern Great Britain is that the British are uniquely famous for “dropping their h’s” in their speech. Judges 12 records that this trait so unmistakably identified Ephraimites that life-and-death decisions could be based on this linguistic trait. Meshech and Tubal also have a genetic trait it would appear: the desire to enslave and dominate others. Ezekiel 27 lists the merchants and products from many nations which were traded in the bazaar of the ancient Phoenician city of Tyre (the staunch ally of Kings David and Solomon). Ezekiel 27:13 list Meshech and Tubal as trading in slaves (as some Bible translations render it). The KJV glosses over it by saying they “traded the persons of men.” Ezekiel 38’s prophecy shows the nature of Meshech and Tubal hasn’t changed since ancient times.

You pose an interesting question. I would say that Ezekiel 38 argues that a literal “prince” (or leader) has to rule over both Meshech and Tubal. Russia’s invasion of Georgia (which includes Tbilisi) may be a fulfillment of that aspect of Ezekiel 38, but the name of Tubal in Georgia may indicate that Tubal once lived there in ancient times even as the term “Iran” indicates that the Ephraimite clan named after Eran (Numbers 26:36) once lived in ancient Persia during its Parthian period.
 
The key issue is where is Tubal located today? The city of Tobolsk and the Tobol River are both named after Tubal and they are both located in Russia already. It would appear that this fact indicates that Tubal is already located within Russia. However, you raise an interesting point, given today’s politics. There is no question that Russia would like to pull all the nations of the former USSR back under Moscow’s domination. Russia’s actions have made it clear that the USA and NATO will not fight for Georgia’s independence so Georgia has effectively become a Russian vassal-state already. It will have only as much independence as Moscow grants it. The Ukraine and other former Soviet states will also “get the point” delivered by Russia in Georgia.
