This post is to announce that I am beginning a Sabbatical from writing, effective immediately. It is long overdue and necessary for personal health reasons, as explained in the “Prayer Request” already posted in my announcements blog category and more personal information is available in my post dated May 12, 2010. A part of me wants to keep pressing on and writing, but several doctors and close friends have strongly advised me that a Sabbatical from my computer activities is necessary for my body to recover from chronic pain and other health issues. Proverbs 11:14 states there is safety in a multitude of counselors, and a “multitude” of qualified counselors are unanimous in telling me that a writing Sabbatical is necessary as part of a major reduction of my computer time for personal health reasons.
There is so much happening in the world that a part of me wishes to continue blogging “no matter what,” but I have to acknowledge my human condition and take the Sabbatical which was urged upon me as long ago as May, 2010. If something truly major happens on the world scene, I do reserve the right to temporarily break my Sabbatical and blog about it.
While I will take a Sabbatical from writing, I can still do radio interviews and new radio programs will be posted at my website as they occur. Indeed, two new interviews aired this week on TruNews.com and were just added to my website homepage (one includes a segment on Noah’s pre-Flood world). Obviously a website still incurs fixed web-hosting and other costs whether I actively blog or not. Those readers who continue to send donations to support this independent website’s costs will still continue to receive “bonus links” each month in which they make a donation of $30 or more. Since I will not be blogging on world events, the list of bonus links is likely to be even longer than they have been in the past.
Many readers may benefit from checking out links at my website that they have not already accessed. There are many audio messages and articles available at my website which can be read by clicking on the tabs at the top of my website’s homepage. Soon I will be posting a new audio message at this website, and I will interrupt my Sabbatical to offer a post to introduce it. I believe this free audio message, entitled How Many Will God Save?, will be the most enlightening and controversial item which I have ever posted at this website. It will address many questions and misconceptions held by modern Christianity about biblical teachings on afterlife issues, and I think readers will find it to be very encouraging.
Everything posted at my website will continue to be accessible to everyone. My printed books will continue to be available via my book links or you can access the publisher’s website directly at BibleBlessings.net. You may also download the new E-book version of my original book, The “Lost” Ten Tribes of Israel…Found!, which is offered at the homepage of my website for half the price of the original printed book. If you have friends who you wish to inform about topics involving the history and modern locations of the ten tribes of Israel, the inexorable trends toward the prophesied latter-day collapse of our global world economic/monetary system called “Babylon the Great” in Revelation 17-18, the biblical and secular evidence that the USA is clearly mentioned in Bible prophecy or the rapid militarization of the Asian “Gog Magog” alliance, please refer them to the articles page on my website and my blog posts. There are over 1000 blog posts, and many of them contain material which are just as timely and informative now as they day on which they were written.
In conclusion, I very much solicit the prayers of all readers of this website that God would soon grant the overall healing and restoration I must receive in order to resume an active writing role for his Name’s sake as we progress deeper into the prophesied latter-day events.
God bless and protect you all!
