AMERICA’S OBSEQUIOUS PRESIDENT?

So many readers have sent me pictures of President Obama doing a shockingly unseemly bow to the Japanese Emperor (see first link) that I thought I’d blog about it since it is on a lot of readers’ minds. This very unseemly bow by Obama to the Japanese Emperor follows a previous incident where Obama made an almost worshipful bow to the King of Saudi Arabia (see second link). If you have not done so already, check out the first two links below and see if they make you proud of our current occupant of the White House.

Many Americans are wondering about Obama’s judgment and actions. The third link cites a poll which shows Obama’s approval rating has hit a new low. Humorists are having a field day with Obama’s bow. One particularly hilarious cartoon on Obama’s lackey-like bowing to foreign leaders (also sent to me) is in the fourth link below.

One scripture that comes to mind as I look at these photos is Deuteronomy 28:44 which prophesies one of the penalties that will befall nations that have been blessed by God when they reject him and fall into deep national sins. It states that others “shall lend to you and you shall not lend to him: he shall be the head [marginal reference "important one"] and you shall be the tail.”  This has come to pass for the USA. Other nations have lent astronomical sums to the USA and the USA has “blown” all that money with no apparent plan or intention to ever pay it back. I think other nations have figured this out. Obama’s posture in the photos below proclaims to all viewers that the USA has become “the tail” in its relations with other nations.
