As readers know, Iran has been attempting to build a nuclear bomb and build missiles that can attack Israeli targets. Many have been the stories speculating that an Israeli or Israeli/American attack vs. Iran’s nuclear facilities could occur “soon.” Such stories have been extant for years, but the expected attack has not happened.

One reason an open military assault has not happened is that there has been a not-so-clandestine war against Iran to halt or delay its nuclear program as much as possible in order to buy time for another solution (a diplomatic breakthrough or regime change in Iran) so an open attack upon Iran’s nuclear facilities will not be necessary. These clandestine means of waging war against Iran’s nuclear program have included (A) the Stuxnet computer virus unleashed on Iran’s nuclear-related computers, (B) assassinations of key Iranian scientists, and (C) an explosion in January 2013 destroying or badly damaging an underground Iranian nuclear facility.

The above actions have indicated a very skillful ability by various allied intelligence agencies to monitor and penetrate Iran’s nuclear facilities. Apparently, there must be some very well-placed “moles” within the Iranian nuclear program and its facilities to make these actions possible.

Another western action has been taken to slow up Iran’s ability to attack Israel (see link). Multiple explosions have now ripped through an Iranian “missile research and storage complex.” This attack targeted the ability of Iran to put any warheads on missiles to fire them at Israel (or anyone else). How long this attack has set back Iran’s nuclear weapons program is anyone’s guess.

I think a number of nations are cooperating to help prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons or any missiles to deliver those nuclear warheads. Israel and the USA are not the only such nations that come to mind. Many regional nations could be hurt very badly if an open war with Iran breaks out in the Mideast, and other media outlets have reported re: the dangers of Iranian/Hezbollah sleeper cells being unleashed in North America and Europe if such a war occurs.

Many nations have a motive for helping to delay Iran’s nuclear program. So far Iran’s nuclear weapons efforts have been delayed by regular low-level attacks. How long this delaying effort will work is not known. What is also not known is how far Russia and China are willing to help Iran so these low-level attacks cease. Indeed, Russia and China may not want any such war to occur as it would “wake up” the West to how vulnerable it really is to the growing Russian/Chinese/Iranian alliance (known as the Gog-Magog alliance in Ezekiel 38-39 to many Bible scholars and teachers). Russia and China may actually see Iran’s current leadership as a “loose cannon” that could jeopardize their long-term goals.

The continuing low-level attacks against Iran’s nuclear and missile facilities may have some very strange bed-fellows, indeed.

China sent eight patrol ships into the territorial waters of the Japanese Senkaku Islands, an aggressive and bellicose action by China. Japan has reacted with predictable anger to this action, and Japan’s Prime Minister Abe promised “decisive action against any attempt to enter our territorial waters and to land.” He added any Chinese effort to land troops at the Senkaku Islands would result in an effort by Japan to “expel by force” any such Chinese landing party.

The USA, as Japan’s ally, would be obligated to support Japan in any such armed confrontation. Such a localized maritime war could raise the possibility of China being able to practice using its new anti-carrier ballistic- and cruise-missiles designed to sink US carriers. This may possibly be the real reason for the very provocative actions by China. In claiming the entire South China Sea, China is also taking another bellicose action which could lead to China having to engage a US aircraft carrier group if regional hostilities break out there. In both locations, it is China which seems to be pushing steadily toward provoking a regional war. China has built many modern weapons systems, but they are entirely untested. To be perfectly blunt, China needs to know if its weapons systems will work as expected in actual combat conditions. Therefore, China has a military need for a regional, limited war to test its new weaponry. If it keeps pushing other nations with increasingly warlike actions, China is likely to get the regional war it apparently wants.

The second link reports that Japan and the USA will conduct joint naval exercises in the California coastal region (the first time US and Japanese forces have conducted a military exercise in US waters). The naval exercises “will simulate landings on an island occupied by enemy troops,” and the Japanese forces participating in the drill will be those “responsible for defending remote islands.” This sounds like the USA and Japan are already preparing for possible joint naval action against China in the “remote” Senkaku Islands.

China’s warlike actions in the Pacific Rim are pushing the nations on China’s maritime periphery into an alliance with each other and with the USA. This is exactly what I predicted years ago (based on Ezekiel 38:13) in my articles: What Ezekiel 38-39 Reveal about a Future World War III and Japan’s Role in Bible Prophecy.

I hope that I’m able to give some encouraging inspiration to the readers of this website by passing along this link. This link has a song which expresses a longing for a world free of war, hunger, etc. In other words, the kind of peaceful conditions that will come to the earth after the return of Jesus Christ. It is sung by a young girl with a voice that is mature far beyond her years. Some of the terminology in the song reflects biblical passages so I assume the singer was a Christian. The introductory language to the link indicates the singer’s name is Jackie Evancho and her song is To Believe.

This provocative behavior by the Russians is continuing. I’m sure most Americans have not been told this by their media, but Russian bombers have upped the ante by recently simulating several attack missions against both Alaska and California–the US homeland. One simulated attack mission was against a site where the US has an anti-missile defense facility located.

The Russian “bear” bomber is old and slow, and its design roughly dates back to the same time as the USA’s B-52 bombers, also still in service. The USAF scrambled F-22 jets to intercept the Russian bombers, but in the event of an actual attack, the Russian bombers would surely have launched cruise missiles from an extended distance away from their intended targets and would be heading back to Russia before any US warplanes could reach them.

I think Russia sent a message to the USA that it knows where the US anti-missile defenses are located and that they will be targeted in any first attack by the Russians. The Pentagon should pay attention to this obvious warning, and post air-defense weaponry at each of these missile interceptor locations.

As I’ve noted many times, the 38th and 39th chapters of Ezekiel in the Bible prophecy that Russia, China, Iran and their allies will launch a surprise attack against the USA, NATO and their global allies at the very end of this age. Indeed, Ezekiel 38:20 prophecies that Divine intervention will be triggered by this age-ending war.

Russia is now flexing its muscles again and acting bellicose toward the USA and the West as are China and Iran. Over 2500 years ago, Ezekiel 38-39 precisely predicted today’s modern alignment of global alliances, so that chapter can only have been authored by a Creator Being who has the power to implement his prophecies millennia later (as God himself challenges mankind in Isaiah 41:21-26 to recognize). Mankind isn’t listening…yet. But it will in the future. Indeed, God’s warning message at some point in the future will become deafening. In a related link, 17 USAF officers have been sidelined from the responsibility of handling the launch sequences and safety of the USA’s ICBM forces. These officers have been cited for substandard and unsatisfactory performance of their duties. The knowledge that US officers with such powerful weaponry to safeguard aren’t taking their jobs very seriously should not comfort American citizens. Thankfully, corrective action is being taken.

The first link (Al Jazeera, an Islamic website) uses the term “ethnic cleansing” to describe what occurred and I have to say the facts support their statement. Estimates of the dead vary widely in media reports. Al Jazerra reported a lower total, but the second link reports that there may have been as many as 102 killed. It is not known who perpetrated this massacre. Was it Syrian loyalists devoted to Assad or was it done by Hezbollah or Iranian troops loyal to Iran? I don’t think anyone knows for sure.

However, the message that was sent was received by Sunni Moslems in this Syrian coastal region which is mostly inhabited by Alawite/Shiites loyal to Iran and to Assad. The second link reports that “thousands” of Sunnis were fleeing the mostly Alawite/Shiite region in order to save their lives. Confusion admittedly surrounds the situation, but it does remind me of the ethnic cleansing massacres that occurred as the former Yugoslavia broke up into separate ethnic/religious regions. The second link even reports an “exodus” was occurring.

In earlier posts, I have speculated that Assad may seek to remain in control of Coastal Syria, supported by Russians, Iranians and Hezbollah. That would provide an Iranian link to Hezbollah and the Russians would be able to keep their Syrian naval port access. The “ethnic cleansing” that is now occurring tends to support that possibility as these massacres will push the Sunnis out of the Alawite/Shiite region near coastal Syria.

Syria is a human tragedy. Upwards of 70,000 or more have been killed and almost one million people have been displaced as refugees, mostly into Turkey and Jordan. Given the fact that Turkey and Jordan are being overwhelmed with refugees, it would seem justified for Turkey to send its military to secure northern Syria so refugees on Turkish soil could return to Syria, and Jordanian troops (backed by Saudis) could send their forces into southern Syria to secure that region so refugees in Jordan could return to Syria. This would be a very good outcome for the West as Turkey and Jordan are western-oriented, Sunni nations. If their troops secured rebel-held Syrian regions, it would keep Al Queda from becoming dominant in those regions and it would avoid the chaos that has engulfed Libya after its civil war.

What we are seeing is the continuing process of the Mideast dividing into the regional alliances that will be allied with either the Gog-Magog alliance prophesied in Ezekiel 38 to include Russia, China and Iran or the western alliance led by the modern nations of the ten tribes of Israel (see my article, The USA in Biblical Prophecy, and listen to my free audio messages at my website on this subject or purchase my books on the subject for the most in-depth examination of the whereabouts of the modern ten tribes of Israel—prophesied in Genesis 49 and Revelation 7 to be present on the earth in the latter days). Sunni Arab governments in the region would like to entirely overthrow Assad, but it remains to be seen if that will occur. It is hard to visualize Putin-led Russia supinely accepting the loss of their naval base in Syria.

In a related action, the Israelis have conducted a series of air strikes on Syrian military bases close to Lebanon. Reports indicate that the Israelis are destroying stockpiles of larger and more-accurate Iranian missiles that would severely threaten Israel if they were transferred to Hezbollah control (see third link for an example of such reports).

It has been reported that the weapons were “stolen.” Yeah, right. Let’s look at the facts.

The first link, from the respected World Herald-Tribune, reports that “there were no guards during the break in.” Does it make sense to you that at a time when insurrections and civil wars are breaking out all over the Islamic Muslim world, the Kuwaiti government (or any government for that matter) would have left an armory completely unguarded when it had enough assault weapons (with fully automatic firing capacities) to equip almost two infantry divisions? No guards? Give us a break! It was also reported that 15,000 rounds of 9mm pistol ammo were stolen. We have not been told how many rounds of M-16 ammo or how many 9mm pistols were “stolen.”

The second link gives specifics about the logistics of how such a “robbery” would have to occur. It reports that this extensive operation would have required “a football-team sized group, working all afternoon, and a convoy of vans to have moved 3,000 boxes of these weapons [the M-16s].” When you consider all the ammo that was no doubt also “stolen” as well, the size of the operation grows even larger.

So we are to believe that the Kuwaiti government, at a time of great danger of civil conflict or wars in Islamic nations, didn’t bother to have any guards at one of its military armories. Not even one security guard with a walkie-talkie? And we are to believe that this massive operation of men and a convoy of unregistered and unexplained vans or trucks travelled to and from the armory and over the street system of Kuwait with no one noticing or bothering to ask any questions? And that they made their “get-away” at an airport or sea-port dock and spent many more hours loading up all this military cargo and not one MP or policeman or airport controller and thousands of observers getting at all suspicious? This unauthorized convoy of trucks and vans got access to an airport or loading dock and past all security gates and military checkpoints with no one asking any questions? Yeah, right! It is also noteworthy that neither the Kuwaiti or American governments seem the least bit upset about this “theft.”

What really happened? I think I know.

I think that there is no doubt that any operation this large would have had the tacit cooperation and permission of the Kuwaiti and American governments and all of their personnel on the ground. I think the most likely option is that these M-16s were clandestinely transported to the Syrian rebels fighting the Assad government. The Obama administration has been leaning toward providing overt military assistance to the rebels (even though some of these rebel groups are affiliated with Al Queda), but has refrained from openly doing so due to American public opinion and the possibility of provoking more Russian military support for Assad if America supplies weaponry to the Syrian rebels. The third link and fourth link document that it is well-known that many of the Syrian rebels have ties to Al Queda (one link is from 2013 and the other from 2012). Does it bother you as much as me that many of the American M-16s may end up in the hands of Al Queda’s Islamic Jihadis mingled with the Syrian rebels?

I think there is no doubt that all Kuwaiti and American personnel in Kuwait were ordered to “look the other way” while this mountain of weaponry was “stolen” without a soul noticing what would have been a very noisy and time-consuming operation. If M-16s start showing up in the hands of Syrian rebels, I think this explanation will have been confirmed. If this is the correct explanation, I don’t think it has a chance of fooling the Russians, the Iranians or the Assad government who have also seen these reports on the Internet. Expect Russia and Iran, who are staunch supporters of Assad, to be quite angry and take some countermeasures of their own…very likely without any publicity.

If anyone seriously thinks that 20,000 M-16s (and perhaps millions of rounds of ammo stored with them) were “stolen” without anyone noticing what would have been a huge, noisy and time-consuming operation, I think that they are prime candidates to buy some ocean-side property in Nebraska. I doubt anyone in the world’s governments or their intelligence and military ministries will buy the very thin and unlikely cover story that these weapons were stolen. After this story broke, there was a later report trying to minimize the “theft” to consist of perhaps 20,000 M-16 rifle rounds being stolen, not 20,000 M-16s. I’m sure we will not be told the entire story. Either report requires the entire Kuwait government to be oblivious and uncaring about the need to guard its own military armories and equipment. That just “doesn’t add up.”

Therefore, I will comment on this controversial topic. You may want to get a cup of coffee. This may take a while to read, and its subject matter is serious. I will discuss openly what I think tens of millions of Americans are now thinking, and discuss it in a biblical context.

It concerns a reported “buy” of 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in the USA. The first link, from Forbes.com ( a mainstream media source), reports that the DHS intends to buy 1.6 bllion rounds of ammunition and that this very strange action by the DHS should stimulate ”a national conversation.” Forbes.com is right. This post is intended to participate and help stimulate such a national debate, especially from a Christian point of view. This first link is dated 3/11/13 and it states the issue had “little notice” at that time. That is no longer the case as it is becoming a hot topic now, as it should. The Forbes article reports that the DHS is not only buying 1.6 billion rounds of ammo, but it is also buying hollow-point rounds—which are forbidden by international law for use in warfare as the rounds are so destructive. Question: if these rounds are so destructive they are outlawed in foreign wars, why is the DHS buying them for domestic use? Who is the DHS intending to kill? These rounds are not suitable for training purposes. This article also warns the DHS is buying 2,717 armored personnel carriers (MRAPS like thosre used in Afghanistan vs. the Taliban). Apparently, the DHS also intends to use these armored vehicles against someone in the domestic USA as the DHS has no role in foreign wars. The story begs the question: What Americans are they intending to use these armored vehicles against? What threat does the DHS see that requires them to have more armored vehicles than exist in the entire armies of most foreign nations? The Forbes issue states that “there…are real signs that the Department bureaucrats are running amok.” It also notes that spending so large an amount of money on a century’s worth of ammo “is way beyond absurd well into perverse,” and further cites the sequestration process which requires all federal government agencies to cut spending as making this kind of wild spending on creating a DHS army rather ridiculous.

The second link, from Fox News, points out the shocking statistic that the DHS is “using roughly 1000 rounds of ammunition more per person than the US army [emphasis added].” The DHS even has its agents using up bullets at a rate of 1300-1600 per officer, even thought the US army only uses about 350 rounds per soldier. How can this federal agency’s spending for such excessive use of ammo be so out of control and not have been reigned in? This article notes that members of Congress “sharply questioned DHS officials on their ‘massive’ bullet buys.” Under questioning, a DHS bureaucrat scaled back the intended size of DHS’s ammo buy to only 750,000,000 rounds (as if that should reassure anyone).

The above paragraphs questioned who the DHS’s targets are in their massive stockpiling of ammo, armored vehicles, etc. The third through fifth links make that answer very clear…from Secretary Napolitano’s own words and the DHS’ actions. The third link reports the very disturbing news that DHS Secretary Napolitano has “labeled law-abiding citizens as ‘right-wing extremists’ and potential ‘terrorists’…” Groups she identifies as being dangerous terrorists-types are Christians who believe in the Bible or its end-time prophecies, military veterans, those who purchase legal firearms or ammo, those who oppose the UN, the NAU or RFID chips, those who have a Ron Paul bumper sticker, etc. In other words, the article indicates that Napilitano labels anyone who is a patriotic, Constitutionalist or Libertarian American as a potential terrorist.

This would be denounced as utterly crazy if the shoe was on the other foot. If we had a far-right president and a far-right DHS Secretary instead of the far-left president and DHS Secrteary we now have? What if a far-right DHS Secretary labeled Muslims, anyone belonging to the ACLU, environmental rights groups, the Audubon Society, homosexuals and all pro-gay activists and all pro-abortionists and anyone who has ever worked for Planned Parenthood as “potential terrorists?” Can you imagine the outcry the left-wing press would unleash demanding the resignation (if not the outright criminal prosecution and/or psychiatric evaluation) of any such far-right DHS Secretary? However, Napolitano’s statements are just as outlandishly ridiculous as the supposed statements of a right-wing DHS Secretary would be! Some of Napolitano’s statements clearly attack Constitutional freedoms. The US Constitution forbids Congress from making any law that restricts freedom of religious expression. That certainly applies to the entire federal government agencies who “legislate laws” via their rule-making authority. Napolitano has just declared all the above categories (likely a majority of the entire US population) as her enemies? Her action is so extreme that one wonders if she is off her meds or determined to make sure the Democrats are clobbered in the next election?

If Congress had any backbone, they would demand Obama fire Napolitano immediately. That he has not done so strongly indicates he shares her radical, anti-Constitutional viewpoints. The fourth link reports that when given a chance to back off her radically-extremist statements, Napolitano refused to do so. This means she really is a radically mixed-up bureaucrat re: who the real potential terrorists are. As these links note, her warnings refuse to name Islamic radicals and Jihadis as terrorist threats although they are clearly from past experience one of the most likely source of potential terrorists (as were the recent Boston Marathon terrorists). The fourth link also reports that the Senior Democrat on a House Congressional Committee overseeing the DHS was “dumbfounded’ at Napolitano’s weird identification about potential terrorists. Napolitano’s suspicions that veterans are potential terrorists is particular wacky. US military veterans who have been fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan to defend the USA against Islamic terrorists and Islamic Jihadi groups overseas are a terrorist danger themselves once they return to US soil? By what twisted logic can this be asserted? Her utterly-misguided animus against Veterans has surely been noticed by all active-duty members of the US military—who will be veterans themselves someday. I can’t help but think all active-duty military personnel must be wondering if Napolitano (and her boss) secretly regard US military members as their enemies as well. This whole thing would be utterly surreal if it wasn’t really happening.

The fifth link, from Glenn Beck’s website, is equally disturbing. A seminar in Colorado, according to a Colorado Undersheriff who attended the meeting, reported that the DHS and the Colorado Police authorities trained Colorado law enforcement personnel to regard Christians who take the Bible literally to be regarded with “intense skepticism.” Again, this is a gross violation of the US Consitution’s langauge that permits the free expression of religious beliefs without government interference. I wonder if this seminar also warned that anyone who takes the Koran literally should be regarded with “intense skepticism.” If not, the whole seminar (like Napolitano’s bizarre Nixonian “enemies list” of potential terrorists), sounds “Christianity-phobic.” One thing I will note about this link. It brings up the subject of “sovereign citizens.” As some readers likely recall, I did a post on the sovereign citizen movement and warned against anyone getting involved with it. I did so because I believe in the Bible literally and documented that anyone who believes the Bible literally would not get involved with such a movement. Someone in the DHS must mistakenly belive that a literal belief in the Bible could lead to one joining the radical sovereign citizen movement. The truth is precisely the opposite (as anyone who has read my article, Christian Rights and Citizenship Responsibilities, would know).

This brings us, inevitably, to the gun-control issue. Why is the Obama administration trying to “gun up” the DHS beyond any defensible measure at precisely the same time they are trying to take away (or prevent from owning) certain guns from America citizens in gun-control legislation? Many in America (and Congress) oppose Obama’s gun-control legislation because they believe that it would only be an incremental first-step in a plan to take all guns away from Americans (which would be a total repudiation of the US Constitution and its 2nd Amendment). Such a move would be an attempt to impose an utterly-illegal coup against American Constitutional government. A discussion of this possibility occurred on a popular TV panel and when the moderator asked what an effort to seize all guns from Americans would mean, a panel participant, the well-known Pat Buchanan, interjected without pause that it would cause a “civil war” (see sixth link). He is, no doubt, correct. If such an unlikely scenario unfolded, it would also not be a war exclusively between the people and the government.

Think this is all too alarmist? A Nobel Peace prize nominee has warned that the Obama administration is making efforts to see who in the military is willing to open fire on American civilians if given orders to do so (see seventh link). This ought to give you some serious things to consider as the DHS apparently is trying to build a domestic “army” of its own.

All US military personnel swear an oath to defend the US Constitution (including the 2nd Amendment), but they have taken no oath that I know of to obey illegal or unconstitutional orders from the president. I think their oath includes a phrase to defend the Constitution from “all enemies foreign and domestic” [emphasis added]. If any president or federal agency tried to seize Americans’ guns and, in so doing, brazenly attacked the US Constitution, all military personnel who take their solemn oath seriously would see any president or federal agency attempting such an action as ”a domestic enemy” of the Constitution and they would need to openly resist such efforts. There is actually a website of uniformed and retired law-enforcement and military members who have already declared their loyalty to the Second Amendment (and all the rest of the US Constitution) against any US president or agency that seeks to destroy US Constitutional rights. One of their links is the eighth link in which a retired US army captain calls on the DHS to surrender its military-style weaponry to the Department of Defense. I think vast numbers of veterans still take their military oath seriously. Is that why Secretary Napolitano regards veterans as dangerous to her goals? I also think many loyal patriotic federal agents would not only refuse to obey any unconstitutional (i.e., illegal) order from the president or their agency heads to seize Americans’ weapons, but would actively oppose them. The ninth link lists that about 400 County Sheriffs across the nation have publicly declared they will not obey or implement any unconstitutional laws passed by the federal government in their jurisdictions. If about 400 have publicly taken such a stand, I think it safe to say thousands of others secretly agree with them. There are also reports of a variety of US states who are considering or passing legislation to “nullify” any federal law that attacks the Constitution.

So far, I have given you information from mainstream media souces. The tenth link is from Alex Jones’ website. I don’t listen to his broadcasts, but I understand he is a late-night talk-show host who represents a very right-wing viewpoint. If you thought the above was scary, read his link. The eleventh link purports to identify the specific locations of over 200 secret “detention” camps now located “secretly” in the USA, and the more alarmist Internet sites believe that Napolitano’s targeted groups are intended to be interned in these camps some day. You can check on your state’s list on this roster and map). A word about these camps.

The alarmist websites and links may be right, but there is one other possibility I’d like to point out for balance. I was employed in municipal and metropolitan government positions for almost a decade. All government agencies make all kinds of emergency plans for every kind of emergency scenario. For example, when I was working at a large metro hub airport, my normal position would have been changed to a press liason if our airport had experienced a jet crash, and I’d have had to give releases to the press re: accident details, casualty lists, etc. Federal agencies surely have all kinds of emergency plans. We live in an age where there is a real possibility of radioactive dirty bombs being set off in a city, an EMP blast by an enemy or via solar surges, earthquakes which could make a city (or cities) uninhabitable, etc. In such events, there could be millions or hundreds of thousands of American civilian refugees. Given this fact, the US government would be derelict in their duty if they did not build large refugee resettlement camps to house such refugees—especially if such disasters happened in winter. If such events happened, having such refugee camps would be a Godsend and their existence would largely be kept secret in order to avoid panicking people. I am not a “knee-jerk’” anti-government type and I think that such a benign explanation for such camps could be possible. However, Secretary Napolitano’s threatening and nonsensical terrorist watch list announcements fuel the fires of the alarmists’ interpretation of the purpose of these camps.

I’ll have more to say on the “blow back” that Napolitano’s bizarre pronouncements have created, but that will have to wait for another day. This post is long enough. I’d like to conclude that Congress needs to de-fund the DHS’s vast ammo buys, its massive buys of armored vehicles, etc. They also should demand Napolitano’s resignation for insulting and impugning vast swaths of the mainstream American populace. You may wish to contact your Senators and Congressional representatives about this “hot” issue.

One last item for you to consider: the last link is a commentary from the Russian media re: Napolitano’s enemies lists and related topics. I thought you might find it interesting what the Russians have to say about these bizarre events in our own nation. The article from the Russia Times makes some interesting points and reveals additional information on this topic not found in the American media links.

Such weapons sales are not unusual, but this sale was remarkable because of which weapons were sold to the Israelis. The USA is selling to Israel KC-135 long-distance air-to-air refueling planes, anti-radiation missiles, advanced radars for Israeli warplanes and V-22 Osprey tilt-rotor warplanes.

As all of you realize, there have been many media reports and warnings of possible Israeli and or American air and missile strikes of Iran’s nuclear weapons facilities. The KC-135 refueling planes are very critical to making a possible Israeli raid on Iran successful. The anti-radiation missiles would help suppress Iran’s anti-aircraft defenses and upgraded radars for Israeli warplanes will make them more effective in attacking Iran and surviving to make it home. The sale of the V-22 osprey warplanes are noteworthy as this is the first time the USA has sold this unusual warplane to any other nation (it takes off like a helicopter and flies like an airplane). Such warplanes would make special forces raids much more effective (could Syrian chemical weapons depots be a likely target?).

Saudi Arabia and the UAE are also about to receive large new orders of American weaponry, and the apparent reason is to help them deter an Iranian attack. Therefore, it is not just Israel that is receiving American weaponry to attack or defend against Iran. Moslem Sunni nations are also receiving American weaponry to help them oppose Shiite Moslem Iran.

Clearly, Iran is in the cross-hairs of current American weapons deals in the Mideast. The sale of weapons to Israel is particularly important as it will make an Israeli attack upon Iran much more likely to succeed as Israeli warplanes could be refueled by Israeli KC-135 tankers instead of needing a clandestine refueling location in an isolated portion of some nation’s desert on the way back to Israel. The sale of these weapons to Israel at this time indicates to me that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu made a very good case to President Obama in their recent meeting that such weaponry was needed at this time. Russia and China are, of course, Iran’s backers and the American sales of advanced weaponry to Israel will likely lead to more Russian and Chinese weapons sales to Iran.

The above developments document the military preparations being taken by the two great alliances prophesied in Ezekiel 38-39 to come into existence in the latter days of this age. The first alliance is led by Russia, China and Iran and their allies. The second alliance is led by the nations of the modern ten tribes of Israel, led by the USA, NATO and their global allies. Do not expect the mainstream media to tell you much about these facts (although there are a few exceptions).

Recently, the stock market averages have hit new highs and this is celebrated as a sign the recession is over. I don’t think so. I think these links reveal the incredible degree to which the stock markets (and other investment markets) are being “manipulated” and “rigged” as is cited in these links.

ABOUT THOSE NEW “HIGHS”:

The first two links [1, 2] cite a story that ran as a feature story in the USA Today on March 18, 2013. It revealed an extraordinary statistic about the stock market. It reports that the number of tradable, publicly-owned stocks has plummeted. Indeed, they report the number of publicly-traded stocks has dropped from 6639 in 2000 to only 3687 in 2012. That means 2952 of the number of stock selections that were available to investors in 2000 has dropped by 2952 stocks or 44.5% of all stocks in the USA in that time. The links reveal “the stock market is going private. It keeps self-consuming.” Consider what this means for market comparisons over the years. The recent stock market highs were reached only because 2952 of the buyable pool of stocks vanished! If those 2952 stocks still existed, much of the money that poured into the remaining and shrinking pool of stock choices would have been distributed among the other 2952 stock choices and the recent “highs” would never have been reached. The reports of new highs in the stock indices are comparing apples and oranges. In order to be a valid comparison, the number of tradable stocks would have had to remain a constant.

AVERAGE STOCK HELD ONLY 22 SECONDS:

The third through fifth links [3, 4, 5] report another shocking statistic. The average stock is held for only 22 seconds! This means there is an unbelievable level of “churning” going on in the stock market data. In former years, investors bought and held a stock for months or years in order to obtain an expected gain on their initial investment. I’ve bought and sold stocks for over two decades. I remember those years. Today, if the average stock is held only 22 seconds, it means that each stock reported as traded in any given day has been exchanged back and forth between big players on the stock market perhaps over 1000 times every day! The fourth link reveals that 70% of all stocks are held for only 11 seconds, indicating that these stocks are being bought and sold perhaps over 2000 times every day! Think of how all this churning distorts the average stock volumes each day. To have this kind of rapid turn-over of all stocks each day, I can only understand this as meaning the big Wall Street institutions and market-makers are buying and selling the same stocks back and forth to each other every day to inflate the number of stocks traded each day and create a perception of a level of interest in the stock market that doesn’t really exist. Think of how the stock market volumes would plummet if only those stocks held for one entire day were included in the stock market trading activity tallies. Think of the ways that insider games can be played with this kind of market data manipulation and insider dealing. Think I’m jumping to conclusions? Keep reading, We are only beginning to have some fun and insight here.

A REGIONAL FED PRESIDENT’S WARNING:

Let’s now hear from a key insider in the USA’s financial establishment. Were you aware that the President of the Dallas Federal Reserve Board District, Richard Fisher, not long ago declared that “the financial system is ‘rigged’ to benefit big banks.” See the sixth link and seventh link for more information on his observation. That so high a Fed official made this statement implies that even the Fed is starting to fear the chokehold that a few big banks have on the US financial and investment markets. Fed District President Fisher added that “The largest U.S. banks are “practitioners of crony capitalism,” need to be broken up to ensure they are no longer considered too big to fail, and continue to threaten financial stability…” (emphasis added). I suggest reading that again to take in the gravity of his statement. This establishment insider is saying the largest US banks are now so big they are a threat to the stability of the US financial system itself. I wonder why? That leads us to the next section.

GOLDMAN SACHS’ “MARKET-RIGGING COMPUTER PROGRAM”:

A few years ago, I mentioned this shocking fact in several posts (8/8/2009). The eighth link and ninth link contain perhaps the most shocking revelation of all. They reveal that Goldman Sachs revealed years ago that it had what these links called a ”market-rigging computer program.” A Goldman-Sachs employee released some of this “market-rigging computer program” to others and was promptly arrested by the FBI and sentenced very quickly to eight years in prison. Interesting. Is this an example of what Regional Fed President Richard Fisher called “crony capitalism?” Goldman Sachs was able to get the civil government to prevent the further dissemination of what I see as an insider-trading program that should get anyone who used this program to manipulate the investment markets jailed. Perhaps the man who revealed the existence of this “unfair” trading program possessed in-house at Goldman Sachs should have been seen as a whistle-blower and those who developed or used this “market rigging computer program” should have been the ones arrested by the FBI. The links also report that this program could be used for a “gold price suppression scheme.” Hmmm. Think about what has happened recently in the current gold and silver markets in light of that statement. I thought illegal insider trading and market rigging should be prosecuted (instead of protected) by the federal government.

I’ve recently seen the phrase “too big to be prosecuted” being used in financial market websites re: the huge Wall Street banks. I think Fed District President Richard Fisher was right in his above-cited observations.

NEW SUPERCOMPUTERS IN STOCK MARKET USAGE:

The final link reveals that new, ultra-fast supercomputers can soon be used to implement “improved monitoring and regulation” of US financial markets (presumably, all stock, futures, precious metals and commodities markets). Perhaps that word “regulation” really means “manipulation” of all US financial markets. I’ll bet some computer wizards will be able to integrate the Goldman-Sachs “market-rigging computer program” into these new supercomputers to create real-time, constant manipulation of all financial markets while leaving the impression that these markets are actually free markets. It is my opinion that there is already no independently-functioning, free financial or investment market in the USA, if not in the world, any longer.

BIBLICAL RAMIFICATIONS:

For years, I have warned that Revelation 17-18 foretell of a massive, future collapse of the current global financial/monetary markets and of the global insider elites that manipulate and profit from these markets. Revelation 18:1-3 identify that in the latter days a very corrupt global financial system will exist in which the “merchants of the earth” (the big international corporations and market insiders) and the “kings of the earth” (the politicians and governments) will cooperate to rob the nations and the world’s masses of their wealth. Think of how the cooperation betwen Goldman Sachs and the US Government’s FBI’s action to arrest the one who exposed Goldman Sachs’ “market rigging computer program” is just one small example of this prophesied cooperation. The revolving doors via which highly-placed insiders move back and forth between corporate boardrooms and governmental positions also fulfills this prophesy perfectly!

Revelation 17-18 prophesy this corrupt system called “Babylon the Great” will experience a sudden and total collapse when their global system is overthrown by “seven heads and ten horns” (likely nations) who have become so sick of the current system that they wage war upon it. They will win totally and Revelation 17:16 indicates that the current insider elites who have set up and controlled the current “Babylon the Great” system will experience a very hard fall. When this occurs, the final global system of this age called “the beast” system will be slam-dunked on the nations–restoring order out of the chaos caused by the collapse of the current global system. This final beast system will have only 42 months to exist (Revelation 13:1-5) before it too is utterly destroyed by the return of Jesus Christ and his army of millions of light-beings the Bible calls angels. That time will witness an age-ending war in which the forces of light and darkness will wage all-out war in both the spirit and physical realms. You can read about that and the victory of the forces led by Jesus Christ in Revelation 19:11-20:4. Indeed, no physical life would survive this war at all if Jesus Christ and his heavenly army didn’t intervene in the physical world and take control of it (Matthew 24:21-22).

Given the deep fractures and instability in the current global financial system and the bizarre actions being taken by the world’s governing bodies (such as the seizure of insured deposits in Cyprus to bail out big money-lenders), the collapse of the world’s current “Babylon the Great” system may be hastening toward us. This is an update to my previous post. The information in this article powerfully illustrates the truth of Paul’s prophecy in Romans 1:31 that in the latter days, society would have a lack of “natural affection” (or be “heartless” as my marginal Bible reference renders it). If the charges against this abortionist are true, one wonders how anyone could be so “heartless” as to do such murderous acts.

The second link relates that three of the eight murder charges against the abortionist have been dismissed by a judge but five of the murder charges remain. If convicted, the article notes that the abortionist doctor faces the death penalty.

Interestingly, although the first link was one of the front-page, featured articles in the April 23, 2013 issue of USA Today, the article was all but impossible to find at the USA Today website. A Google search for the article by its name resulted in no hits. A further Google search for the article listing both the article’s title and author turned up no hits. Only when I typed in the name of the article, the author’s name and the newspaper’s name was I able to locate USA Today’s own featured story (the first link) on Google’s site. It does appear to me that the print and electronic media are trying to “bury” this story and hide from the public the horrors of what can go on at an abortion facility. Even FoxNews had no story about the trial mentioned at its homepage today. I only found the second link when I used the “search” feature at the FoxNews website and typed in the abortionist’s name. Congratulations to the print version of the USA Today for giving this story the conspicuous coverage it deserves.
